Outstanding service! They sent out a rep who provided us with a quote and we easily placed the HVAC unit order. They provided an on time delivery where 2 installers removed the old unit and successfully installed the new unit. Clean up of the job was perfect. Price, quality and service were all a 10. Would recommend!
Purchased 2 brand new air conditioners installed less 3 weeks ago. One unit is not working (of course on hottest day with temps in 90s). Called for service was told $90/hour to come service. Explained it was brand new just installed and was told because it’s weekend it doesn’t matter, it’s a double overtime charge. If we wait til weekday they can come look at no charge, otherwise we pay )$90 hour for their install error or inferior product. I suggest you use a company that guarantees their work for new A/C units and doesn’t try to charge you to fix their mistakes!
For the past 2 months I have had the worst business experience of my life. Unfortunately, it was with a company that have came highly recommended. My furnace was missed diagnosed 3 times with the potential of another, if we allowed it. Each time they told me what the issue was regarding my furnace, they recommended a part to fix it, and nice bill came right along with it. Each time they added a part, it didn’t fix the issue. I then asked who is responsible for the inaccurate solutions. I was told “tech support,” a person over the phone that has never been inside my house. They completely dismissed all accountability for their mistakes. After 2 months of misdiagnoses, and the unnecessary purchase of multiple parts, my wife and I cut our losses and asked for them to install a new furnace. They offered to do this at a discounted rate, however, I couldn’t be reimbursed for the unnecessary parts I previously purchased. I asked them leave all the new parts that were purchased and the old parts that were uselessly replaced at the house. They didn’t leave any old parts from the original furnace or new parts that I purchased from them. I’m sure these hold plenty of resale value. To be a small town company, deeply rooted in the community, I expected a better solution and a better experience. I hope we all learn from this and become better decision makers.
I have had Kenosha Heating & Cooling repair my old boiler and my new-ish ductless mini-split which is A/C and a heat pump. I wish they would have done the initial installation. Their techs are professional and knowledgeable. They show up early and do their best to provide long-term value. I won't call anybody else!
I've tried several other HVAC contractors over the last 25 years before a friend recommended Kenosha Heating. The office staff and the techs are top notch - they know their stuff. It is unusual to work with a contractor who does not try to take advantage of you. Looking forward to working with this team for the next 25 years!
I am thrilled. My husband is thrilled. We had a tankless water heater installed today. They were here all day. Answered all questions I had. Not just professionally but personably. Since I can't be in the presence of another human being without chattering away, they treated that with respect as well. No sighing, no mico-agression whatsoever. My home and time were treated with respect. Despite all they had to do to install the water heater, they cleaned up after themselves and worked in an efficient manner. While I did not watch them work, It was obvious that the gentlemen were organized professionals who worked with a plan and a purpose. This was confirmed when my husband came home and looked over everything. He had a mile wide grin. He said, "baby, they did a beautiful job. It looks amazing." That's HUGE for him. My neck and back make the stairs hard for me, I did not get to look until my husband came home. I am impressed. Please notice how clean they left everything. They had to cut away 2x4's. I can't begin to tell you how much that meant to me. Yes. I recommend. Yes, I will go to them for any and all future HVAC needs.
The technicians have been well trained. Every service visit I've had with Kenosha Heating and Cooling has had an experienced technician training an apprentice. They are investing in the future and helping the next generation acquire skills the community will need.
Last Sunday, our furnace decided to have issues. We called one business, and they were too busy. We called Kenosha Heating and Cooling and we received prompt service. We explained what was going on and there was zero hesitation on coming over. After a cleaning and testing, we had heat. Brian explained that our furnace was well.....30yrs old and may need to be replaced. Ended up that he was correct. The next morning, same issue and we called for a tech to come out. They came as soon as they could and gave a quote to fix it and or to replace it.
Short story between, they didn’t charge us for a service run, just the cleaning and also didn’t charge to come over again.
After after all we decided on the new furnace with humidifier. The quote was much much lower than we anticipated and were over joyed. The staff in the office is friendly and so are the technicians. They explained everything to my wife in layman’s terms and showed her how to run our Ecobee thermostat more efficiently.
Lastly, they were so nice to offer two space heaters until they replaced the furnace. How awesome is that. Thank you to all at Kenosha Heating and Cooling.
Your entire crew and office staff are terrific. I enjoy working with everyone. From installing a new HVAC in our duplex to emergency calls when construction dirt caused it to cease working on winter, to repairing the older unit blower motor, it's been easy to make appointments, the techs always arrive on time and have made accurate diagnoses then found the parts and repaired quickly. On top of that, everyone is very nice to work with. I highly recommend Kenosha Heating & Cooling.
Every tech we've had has been helpful, honest, realistic, professional and interested in the job. The business has always been able to prioritize if we had a major issue during bad weather. We had an issue (user error) that was simple to fix, but also presented as a $1000 problem. The techs took their time to investigate and fix the true problem. If you have an Hvac issue - this is the place to call.
