This is not an angry review.

First the positives.
I have a functioning installed air conditioner
The price was competitive
My front end experiences with the estimator was very good and professional.
The new unit performs better than the old ever did.
I have a 10 year parts/labor warranty

Room for improvement.

What was estimated to take one afternoon ended up taking 1 week to complete.
The installation team struggled to install every component from the thermostat, the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. Several of these items were damaged in installation and had to be replaced. (not at my expense).
The installing team and their manager weren't discrete with their frustrations. My kids heard some things.
My mailbox was run over by one of the KS vehicles but was also replaced w/ a new version of what was destroyed.

Summary:

The Fast/Cheap/Right (pick 2) adage is true, and my priorities are right and cheap.
I spent time reading google reviews before I asked for a quote and I believe this situation is not the norm for KS.

If you are considering which company to use for your HVAC needs, please read this:

The heating element in our furnace went out a few days before Christmas. The unit was a dual fuel Trane, but was nearly 17 years old. Needless to say, it was time to replace it. After vetting 3 different companies, we decided to go with KS Services because (1) they got great reviews online, (2) There prices were very competitive for what they offered and (3) Blake (the owner) presented his information with no salesmanship or pressure, but talked about how important it was for him to treat his customers right. The install was scheduled and they did everything they said they would and more. It was a great experience. Oh, and BTW, they wanted to make sure we had heat if we needed it, so they came the day after Christmas to install.

After 8 months, our house has never stayed as comfortable over such a hot summer as this one, and the new unit was so much more energy efficient it even saved 20-30% off our power bill ... all while making it cooler in our home this summer! It was a wonderful until ... our air quit working!

Luckily I remembered that KS Services gave me a parts and labor full warranty with the unit as a part of the deal, so I called in to have the unit repaired. I remembered when we were shopping around for our unit, part of the reason we went with KS Service is because Blake told me they were 24/7 and would come to fix our unit during normal hours or after hours, even on holidays.

Promises are easy to make, but in business its not too often that someone actually does what they say they will. Well, not only did Blake send someone to fix my A/C unit, but he sent them out at 10:00 at night ... on a Saturday ... Labor Day Weekend!!! The technician that came out was awesome! Great attitude, worked hard to get the unit fixed, then thanked us for our business and apologized for any inconvenience the air being out had caused us. I WAS TRULY BLOWN AWAY.

In a world where it is rare for someone to do what they say, KS Services does that AND SO MUCH MORE. My business will stay with KS Services as long as they are around and anyone who asks for a recommendation will hear me sing their glowing praises. So if you are shopping around, look no further!

This was my first experience with KS Services. Originally, it was a service call for routine maintenance but I was also looking into replacing my old systems due to the work they constantly required. By the end of day, I had a proposal for the upgrades and was told they would be installed the next day (which I was skeptical). Team showed up on time the next day as promised and was very professional. They had everything setup and installed (two systems) by that evening. You just can’t get better service than that....these guys were top notch. I’m a customer for life.

Dustin and his team replaced my old heating and air unit in July. Very professional and hardworking team. Explained how to use my new system.

Once again, I am totally impressed with KS Services. I had a block in my home sewer system on Friday night and called KS services to get someone there on Saturday. Luke showed up at 9:30 AM and started trying to figure out where the blockage was. It was a strange case, and it took all day to determine that our sewer line was crushed just outside our house. Luke worked it one step at a time me and never got frustrated. Once he determined the problem (after digging a 4 foot deep pit behind our shrubs in the front yard) he got the necessary parts and made the repair, and got everything back to working order. He wrapped up at 7 PM with the same great attitude he arrived with. I am totally impressed with KC and will certainly contact them first for any plumbing or HVAC problems. Great job, Luke!! KS Services is the best!

Our air conditioner went out right before summer. By the time we could get a new one installed the weather turned hot. KS came out and gave us a quote, set up financing, and installed our new system, all in the same day. The worksheets that showed up were prompt, polite, and very professional. I am beyond pleased with the company and the service. I highly recommend this company. Thanks to Jeremiah, and his crew for staying late and giving us that sweet, cool air!

Excellent service! Very friendly technicians! They installed an entirely new system in my house and had it all done in a day. The guys cleaned up after themselves and even vacuumed under my couch for me. I’ll definitely be using KS in the future.

I have been a customer for two years now and I can say this is a legit "customer comes first" business. Blake has been amazing to work with throughout my whole replacement process and check-ups. I highly recommend using KS Services for an easy, budget friendly ac/furnace replacement. I also love that they are a locally owned and operated business!

KS replaced my old, undersized, and unreliable heat pump system.The technicians were timely, professional, and skilled at their trade. Every detail was looked after to ensure that the new system was installed correctly. Every question I had (which was many), were answered politely and in terms that I could understand . The new 4 ton Bryant heat pump exceeds my expectations in regards to heating my home.
I will be using KS exclusively for my future HVAC and plumbing needs.

The owner came by and explained what system I needed. His price was better than the other 2 quotes I got. The installers were on time, very courteous and professional. I couldn't be more pleased with KS Services. I would highly recommend them and will definitely them in the future.
