Cassel Air Conditioning & Heating Service

My partner and I are new to Fair Oaks. We had only been living in our new home for about a month when our AC stopped working account of the triple-digit week-long heat wave. I attempted to fix it myself with the limited knowledge I have of AC condenser units.

Being supporters of local businesses, we called Cassel, initially asking for parts. Don informed me that he doesn't sell parts, but there was a semi-local store where I could find what I was looking for. After replacing those parts, the unit still wasn't working, so I called Don back for a professional repair.

After troubleshooting to find the root of the problem, Don was able to track down the part we needed within a couple hours. He came back during the peak heat of the day and got our AC up and running again. These were extreme temperatures, extreme circumstances, limited parts availability, and Don still made sure we had a working unit by the end of the day.

My A/C stopped working when it was 115 degrees in Sacramento. Don came out in the evening a few hours after I called him. He diagnosed the issue to be a bad capacitor. Don replaced it and the AC is working. My family and I really appreciate his professionalism and amazing customer service. Thank you Don!

Donald was friendly, informative, and was able to diagnose and fix the issue with our AC unit quickly. He charged for his excellent work, but advised me on other areas to improve my HVAC system for free, even going so far as to send me links to products I could purchase, at no direct benefit to him. THAT is someone who cares about their customers, folks. Call him first before anyone else.

I had previously tried two big box hvac companies to to come out and fix a heater on one property and air conditioner on another property. To keep this story short. For each property they each made it a hassle scheduling for a quote with myself and tenants then try to sell you something in addition to the problem and then take weeks to coordinate another time which they may or may not show up which both companies rescheduled after all the hassle of coordination. I got frustrated and thank God I came by Don Castle's number.

Don came out, did an inspection of all the components and gave a proposal that was extremely fai compared to others I received. Showed up to do the job and got it done impressively fast and clean. I went under the house myself to see the quality of the work and was impressed. Don came back a few days later after the capacitor went out and replaced it for no charge. I had three different companies come out give me estimates. Cassel air conditioning and heating was the very first ones to come out, I knew instantly they were the company I was going to go with. They did an amazing job they're very efficient friendly and always made sure to clean up after themselves they were here for 4 days and we're always very polite and very friendly even our old dog Lucy loved Don. They explained everything they were going to do along the way and did all of those things very professionally and efficiently. I would highly recommend Don Cassel and his company.
