When my heating and air conditioning unit went out, I had no idea who to turn to for such services. A company came out and gave me a quote for a new unit and duct work which was upwards of $20,000. Lana and Owen believed that I was being overcharged for such services and equipment. Owen personally came out and took a look at the duct work and unit on the roof and confirmed we were being overcharged. Within a week, McGee Refrigeration, Heating, and Air Conditioning was at the house replacing the duct work and installing the new unit on the roof. The team that installed the equipment was led by Troy. He was punctual as well as respectful to me and my boyfriend. He answered all the questions we had and if he didn't have the answer, he was sure to have it by the end of the business day. We are so thankful and so comfortable in our cool home right before the heat of summer. We highly recommend McGee Refrigeration, Heating, and Air Conditioning! Thank you Lana and Owen!

Great experience and will always have the McGee family service and repair our units. We had our Air conditioning unit go out last year during the summer, which was diagnosed very quickly with my options and time frame. I have recommended to all family and friends which all have been given the same service every time with no issues. We are now on the scheduled maintenance program which gives us the confidence that outages will not be an issue anymore. Very thankful McGee Refrigeration for all that you do!

McGee Refrigeration did such a great job on the service of our Heating unit. There technicians were very professional, courteous and neat. They even wore cloths over their shoes so that they wouldn’t get our carpets dirty. Their annual service agreement they offer is saving me quite a bit of money on my yearly service. HANDS DOWN, the BEST heating and AC service in town!! I have had McGee Refrigeration provide my AC/Heating service for about 5 years now, and would not go with anyone else! McGee refrigeration is a local, family operated service and treat their customers more like family than anything else! They are fast, efficient, and provide quality service. My AC unit stopped working after a brief power surge well after business hours on a HOT, HOT day. I called McGee, expecting a re wording, but was pleasantly surprised to reach a live voice (why did they answer WELL after hours? Because they knew it was hot and people would need help; that's just who they are!). A service tech was scheduled right away for the following morning; The technician arrived as scheduled, went straight to work, and had my house cooling back down in no time! THANK YOU McGee Refrigeration!

I called them after getting a 3 month run around from the company sent out by the home warranty. The original company ended up refusing to take my calls and took weeks in between repairs. I called Lana at McGee and she was wonderful. Owen came out the next day to assess the system. He spent an hour trying to make it work and could not salvage the 25 year old system. The next day we had an estimate and scheduled the install. The workers showed up promptly at 7am to begin the replacement and were very professional. The had the old system out and the new system in place and working by 3pm. They explained the whole process to myself in a way I could understand. They installed our smart thermostat and walked me through the set up process. I cannot express how pleased I am with this company. They will be the only company we use in the future!!

Large shout out to McGee’s Refrigeration!! 3 other companies wanted us to just buy new air conditioning units and one included an additional $800 part. McGee was the only guy to crawl up into the attic. Looked at the ducts and air returns. Found out were not installed correctly 15 years ago!! Hence all the problems through the years with heating and cooling that side of the house! 2 hours later, all fixed. Even air temp in all rooms, and no additional part needed and stated our units looked great, absolutely no need to replace!! If you need air conditioning or heating concerns in Tulare county, they are the ones to go to!!!!

After purchasing my home at the end of last year, my heating and ac unit went out just 4 months after moving in. Luckily I had insurance, but the process ended up being a nightmare. They connected me with a company who was beyond shady and demanding my money upfront, before any service was performed. After some research, I came across McGee Refrigeration on multiple sites and read the reviews and then decided to give them a call.
