We just moved and James with Major came out several times to pinpoint a sneaky issue with our furnace. He serviced the unit and was able to find and fix the issue promptly and at an incredibly reasonable price. We will absolutely be using Major for all our HVAC needs from here on out! I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We had some ducting needing to be moved as a part of a remodel. The company sent someone out to look at the job very quickly and we received a bid for the job almost immediately. We called to schedule a week later and were told we had to email them to accept the bid. We emailed them and got no response. We called again a few days later and were told to talk to the estimator (Jerry) to schedule and so we left a message on his direct voicemail. Again no response. We called multiple more times and the receptionist told us “he’s planning to start you this week” then radio silence. Call again after “this week” has come and gone, and receptionist says “he is going to get to you next week” and again no response. The last time we called I asked to speak to Jerry and was bounced to three different people, none of whom would connect me to him and gave me the same “he’s going to try to get to you next week.” We ultimately went with another company who didn’t give us the runaround and waste WEEKS of our time and delay our project.
We had our 60 year old heating sysrem replacement. The young man that worked at our house was absolutely wonderful. Ryan was here on time every day showed up every time he said he would come. He was so respectful of my husband and myself. He worked harder than anyone I’ve ever seen. He’s such a good example of what a good employee should be. Thank you Ryan.
I asked them for a quote on a new furnace. Their tech stopped by on his way back to the office from another job. He was in and out of my house in 15 minutes and then made small talk in my driveway for almost an hour. The quote came in $6,000 higher than the company I went with. It was clear they never wanted to do the work. They sent me a bill claiming I had to pay for the time to travel from the other job the tech was at even though I'm 15 minutes away from their office. They have sent me a bill for over $300 when all I asked for was a quote. Unprofessional, unresponsive, an embarrassment to small business, and borderline scam. DO NOT USE MAJOR HEATING & AIR
I can't say enough about the level of service provided by Major Heating and Air. From the moment that I contacted them, they went to great lengths to make sure that they could help to resolve a longstanding/undiagnosed issue with my steam heat system. Their technicians were prompt, prepared and professional. They communicated throughout the process of the repair and double checked in the days following the repair to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the work that was performed. It's not easy to find a company that specializes in steam boilers AND is responsive. I'm so relieved to have found Major and will refer them to anyone that asks. Thanks to Todd, Jack and the rest of the team!
I have used Major for boiler repairs several times in 15 yrs. What seems to be Flat rate pricing will shock you once the tech calls into the office to get your bill. I recently had a tech replace a $300 part add in 2 hrs of labor and the cost was $860. I even provided the part number I needed so the tech could bring it for the call. Techs are great but the pricing for the job will be done from the office and you will pay a premium. Beware.
I would highly recommend Major heating and air!! I had a problem with my air conditioning and Travis Marque came right out and assessed my unit. He determined what my issue was right away and we set up an appointment for repair. They were able to come out the very next day...David was on time, efficient and extremely nice. He explained everything he needed to do and made sure I was well informed before proceeding. My air conditioner is working perfectly now! I couldn’t be more please with the service..extremely professional and efficient! Thank you Major Heating and Air!
My parents AC unit stopped working and called this company to come fix it. They came out, replaced a part. Got it working. Did something else to it and it stopped working. Told my parents that he wasnt responsible and left. This was four days ago. Finally, the owner responds (Jack) and is immediately defensive. He tells my mother that her version of the story is wrong, called her a liar and continues to mock her. He is unprofessional and, quite frankly, immature. It is my understanding that should an employee damage something they are repairing, it is the companies responsibility to repair it. Dealing with them is a headache and not worth the trouble. Think twice before using this company.
We are fairly new to using Major Heating & Air as our cooling company. They have been so awesome so far! We work right off of Wadsworth, and that traffic is horrible for AC filters! They helped get us an appointment, same day and worked with us in a trying situation! Thank you to Debbie as well, you are a ROCK STAR!!

All I can say was that Jerry was awesome, and we may have even found the issue plaguing my system without having to get a new furnace. Would highly recommend Major to anyone looking for brass tacks folks with experience.
