Was told the tech would be by in less than 10 min as he was 'a few blocks away'. He shows up an hour + late, finds the furnace issue fault in less than 2 min (loose wire), then bills me for 1.5 hours of work, stating that they charge for travel time from the last job. He said he had to travel from another city, during rush hour, etc...Totally corrupt system when it comes to billing. The office manager failed to share this info and did not provide a discount as most services charge, once they arrive at a job. I argued the fact that what if the tech didnt show up for 3 hours, would I have been billed for that too? They didint deny that they would. Pretty sure this practice is illegal, especially since it was not explained before, and was lied to about arrival time.

A great experience with Major Heating and Cooling Construction Manager Jerry Cassel. Mr Cassel went out of his way to accommodate a short notice review and estimate of a furnace and hot water heater that was identified as needing replacement prior to the closing date and occupancy of our residence. Thank you, great job!!

Prompt, friendly and knowledgeable! Major arrived within their promised time and took the time to understand what we were experiencing in the house. Cold upstairs while blazing hot in the basement in the winter. Hot upstairs and freezing in the basement in the summer. The Comfort Specialist provided different options to meet our needs (and budget) and was very knowledgeable about rebate options that were available to us. They even brought coloring books for the kids!
