We had a different service company come and do maintenance work on our AC unit. After they left, the unit wouldn’t work, they sent out another repair person to look at the unit and then proceeded to tell me that they weren’t trained on this particular brand. I then called coastal cooling for assistance since they were a company affiliated with the brand of the AC unit we had. They sent somebody out within the hour, and the service man took his time and explained what he thought was going on and he got the unit working! I will definitely use this company in the future and highly recommend their services to anyone. Jonathan was the technician for our call and he is a definite asset to this company!
Be Careful! 1. After hour technician was trying to overcharge 10 times for a warranty covered part! 2. The technician left me in a hot house when he had the ability to fix the unit. 3. I was loyal to Coastal Cooling, Inc. for 9 years since the unit was installed. 4. In the past, I never refused to pay, and I have a feeling there have been times when I was charged for warranty covered parts. 5. The operator/secretary (person who took my call), was rude to me, did not offer any solutions, and threatened me with collection.
Mario was very professional. He was also very knowledgeable. I would suggest that everyone use this company for their HVAC needs in the greater Ft Myers area.
MISERABLE EXPERIENCE dealing with scheduler who was rude, disrespectful and not helpful. It took a month to finally get my 2 new units working after the units had come in. Scheduler was to call me after being notified by AJ, technician that units were in. It took 2 weeks until she called. I had called several times and she never returned my calls. When I did speak to her she rudely blasted me about leaving voicemails for the past 3 weeks. Not true, no voicemails. Several more weekly scheduling delays followed. Day of start up and no one showed up. Office had no explanation for that. Another scheduling delay. I will NEVER deal with coastal again and would suggest to anyone to avoid dealing with them. And that's a shame because technicians AJ, Zach and Jonathan were very helpful and very respectful people to work with. I did expect that in purchasing 2 new units that they would at least have come with a filter. They didn't. SHAME on Coastal Steve Littman
Had an old inefficient system on its last legs. Half the house was warmer than the other half and I needed help understanding what the best approach would be. Alan added a newer Daikin FIT that made it all better. Now I can monitor and adjust the temperature from my phone. It is whisper quiet. Kudos to his team crawling around in my 100+ degree attic. :-) 5 Stars!
Good people. They are easy to work with, friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing seemed reasonable when considering it is post-Hurricane Ian and everything and everybody costs so much more. I would definately recommend them.
