Technician came out to diagnose a mini split system. He started at the main AC unit. He diagnosed the unit to have a bad motor. Charged $106 for the call. He never checked the wiring or source of power. The breaker to the unit had blown and the unit is now operational. Serious questions about this tech’s knowledge and expertise.

Not happy with the service Gulf Coast did NOT provide. On Dec 16 2020, I paid them $97.50 to inspect leaking in our garage and gave a me resolution which was to get the A-Frame professionally cleaned. On Jan 22 2021 they came out to clean the coils and the A-Frame, they totally cut wires, pipes, etc to clean it in the front yard only for them to advise that if they cleaned the A-Frame, it would disintegrate and agreed that I needed a new air conditioner. I paid $375 for them to tell me this and they never cleaned it, only put it back but did not work because all the pipes, wires were cut. My biggest issue is when the first tech came out, why didn't he advise that it couldn't be cleaned? Did he not thoroughly inspect it, and why did the tech on the second trip not remove the metal panel to evaluate first before dismantling it? instead he completely removed the A-Frame and then discovered this? All he had to do was to remove the metal covering on the A-Frame and he would have seen that it was to far gone. I paid this company $472.50 for nothing. I really question the tech's integrity and experience. The office staff was great but never got my money back.

Came immediately to fix an issue. Highly recommend Brandon as a service technician. Installation of new system last year was very professional and fairly priced Have been a satisfied customer for over 30 years in three homes

We had Gulf Coast Air come out for a second opinion on our non-functioning AC, after another company told us our compressor had failed and we either needed a new compressor (over $1500) or an entire new unit (almost $7K). Alvin and John came out and very thoroughly inspected our system. Turns out that our AC unit was actually fine, it was our breaker that had gone bad, which was an easy fix and SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive. I am so thankful that we had HONEST, ethical, skilled techs come out to check our unit. They easily could have just agreed with the previous assessment and tried to sell us a whole new system. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate them!

Have used gulf coast air systems since 1985, they not only install but also maintain my unit through a service agreement. They are always responsive and arrive at time scheduled. This time I had a new unit installed and dealt with Amari, who went above and beyond to keep my cool until my unit arrived (yes COVID-19 has effected them). Amari personally brought a portable unit to my house to make things bearable until my unit was installed.

I want to thank everyone at gulf coast air and will continue using and recommending them whenever the opportunity presents itself.

We have an older AC unit and perform an annual service with Gulf Coast Air Systems to extend the life of the unit. Brandon was very thorough and honest in his evaluation of the unit. Although the 14-year-old unit is showing signs it is approaching the end of its life, Brandon fully explained his diagnostics and was able to perform several minor services that should extend the life of the unit for a few more years. I appreciate his honesty and the transparency of service that I’ve always received from Gulf Coast Air Systems during these yearly service visits. They are not out to sell new AC units as soon as a problem arises but prefer preventative maintenance and repairs if at all possible. Thank you!

We have always had excellent results with Gulf Coast Air. We have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. On our last maintenance visit, Luke diagnosed a problem with our blower motor and circuit board on one unit and replaced a capacitor that was showing signs of wear on the other. The new parts were ordered and installed by Matt quickly and efficiently within a few days. We are very satisfied customers.

We had our air go out in October of 2020. We called Gulf Coast Air and they were quick to respond and assess our situation. They brought us a portable unit to use while they replaced our unit. They were very professional and friendly. We called them back when we decided to have our duct work replaced. Definitely would recommend Gulf Coast Air!
