Mike Hackett did an air condition service on our older AC model. He did a fantastic job and was extremely courteous. He went out of his way to locate the air handler, even though it was in a hard-to-find location. He was helpful with maintenance tips and was clear on what we should do with our AC in the future. Kennith Brooks came to service my heat pump air system yesterday, 6/13/16. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely fixed the problem. What's more, Ken was able to explain the system and its characteristics vs older systems very clearly so that using it in the future will be a breeze, er, no pun intended.

I would very definitely recommend Gulf Coast Air Systems and Kennith Brooks in particular.

Our A/C stopped working and even though it was later in the day, Brandon was here a couple of hours later. He was professional and friendly. He was able to troubleshoot and fix our problem so we could sleep that night in nice cold air!

Gulf Coast Air Systems installed our Trane unit a few years ago. Excellent service from the beginning. Mike Hackett, Jr. performed the summer maintenance on the unit today. Arrived as scheduled and immediately went to work. Very satisfied with his professional, courteous and thorough
job. He is a "numero uno technician."

Excellent service from Gulf Coast Air Systems' Mike Hackett, Jr. today !!!! He arrived on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He began with the outside unit taking readings and measurements with his gauges and meter. He detected the freon was a bit low, but not much. He added a little Freon, and recorded all the necessary information. Additionally he cleaned the grass clippings and other dirt from the outside unit. Then he put the panels, etc. back on the outside unit.

Next he went into the Attic, opened panels on the inside uniy and took the measurement . All measurements were good. He ran water through the overflow pipe and it was cleaned also.

Mike performed a great job on our unit, both outside and inside. I highly recommend Mike!! He did a great job.

We have had Gulf coast for a few years since they installed a new system for us. Their service has been great. Luke arrived on time and was very nice and polite.

We've used this company for several years. They first repaired a warranty issue that required extensive work (our house is less than 6 years old). Unfortunately this repair resulted in a slow leak of the coolant which they could never find. Subsequently for several years they've had to return every summer to add more coolant to our system. When the AC stopped working this summer, Gulf Coast Air discovered a broken part as well as the low coolant. The technician repaired the part and toped off the coolant. Due to an impending lightning storm the technician was hesitant about checking for the leak. Well a month after the repair the AC stopped working again. The same technician came to repair the system. He said the same part broke again and replaced it under warranty. He checked the coolant and said it was fine. Unfortunately he arrived more than an hour after the scheduled time was over so he was unable to check for the leak. Less than a week later the AC stopped working a third time. By this time we did not have confidence in the technician they sent previously. But as you can guess they sent him again. He claimed to have found the 'slow leak' we've had for several years. It now caused ALL the coolant to leak out and would result in a $700-$800 repair. By this time we refused the repair pending a call we wanted to make to their office. That evening we checked the outside unit and discovered that several caps were not replaced properly and an AC line on the ground had a slight crack in it. As you can guess we concluded the source of the new leak was caused by sloppy service. After a call to their office, Gulf Coast Air eventually sent their lead techinican who repaired the 'new' leak as well as identified the source of the slow leak (bad coil) which he found inside our house. Unfortunately they would not acknowlegde the shoddy service (lead technician did not deny it but he wouldn't outright admit it) but they were 'kind' and only charged us for half of the coolant and planned to give us a 15% discount on the replacement of the coil. So you can use them if you want...just cross your fingers and hope the sloppy techician no longer works for them! For us, well, they'll never get another phone call from our house.

GULF COAST AIR came out quickly in busy heat of summer same evening I called!! Garvin tech was quick to locate and fix my problem honestly and awesome price!!! Do not hesitate to call them I have dealt with many hvac companies this company is reputable.
