I must say I've been here about 5 times and yesterday was the best experience I have ever had in a tool store ever. An employee saw me looking at an atv lift, asked if I needed help, after helping me out, he then hands me a $20 coupon. I get to the register one of them notices a ding and further discounts it. While walking around, I happened by a chainsaw that was marked down by about 50%. I assume it's a mistake cause it's a high end saw and it's brand new in the case. I walk back to the register to see if it's a mistake, and it's actually $30 less than the price that I already thought was too good to be true. Then she gives me a $20 coupon to use on that. I love when you go someplace and they take care of you as a customer. I will be going back a lot more often now. Great work from a great staff, they have a pretty good selection of both high end tools and the cheap ones just to get you by for one off uses too. Very happy with this place and would recommend to anyone. Also their trailer wheels were cheaper than TSC...

I placed an order on their webpage 21 days ago. I still do not have my order. I called their customer service. I was sent 2 tracking numbers that did not work, and was told that I could not cancel my order. I was told that I had to reject the order when it arrived!? Asked to talk to a supervisor, waited 35 minutes on the phone. The supervisor sounded surprised when talking to him. I told him that I was not going to wait until the order arrived and that I wanted my money back. Which was another pain-steaking ordeal. First and last time I order from this company.

Northern Tool gives a free E-Certificate, depending on amount spent. It is available when looking around but disappears when I'm ready to place an order. I love the selection of tools available and fast shipping.

Good selection and very helpful staff! I walked in with a picture of what someone was looking for and they were able to help find what I needed very quickly. Prices were very reasonable as well.

This place was absolutely amazing! I don't know if anybody else has gone into Home Depot or Lowe's and just felt like a number. Just being completely overwhelmed with how big the place is how many ladders are in the way of the things that you're looking for and how little help that you get from staff but if you go to this establishment that will never be the experience that you have. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and so helpful and if they don't know they will call somebody to the front who knows. I've never been in a tool store that's given so much personal attention to me trying to find a tape measure. This is the greatest tool store I've ever been to and I would recommend everybody go there if you want to be treated with dignity and respect while trying to give the money for buying supplies

I am currently still waiting for any resolution to the following issues.

I ordered a fireplace woodburning insert thru Amazon from this vendor. The item was estimated to deliver on Dec 8th. On Monday Nov 20th I received a call from their shipper. The item was in their facility and they wanted to setup delivery. She then asked if there was a forklift on site. This is a residence and the item is a residential item. Do you know of anyone that has a forklift at their home? I live rural and my driveway is massive with a huge turn around up by porch. I explained this to shipper and Northern. I have deliveries daily huge semis in and out. Never an issue. I've even experienced deliveries being made from the street by forklift to my porch. This was exactly my statement.. They would only deliver curbside which number 1 as a Prime Customer of Amqzon is never okay. Number 2 my home front porch sits back about a mile from curbside. How do you move a 500 lb item??? After a week I finally heard from Northern Tool telling me I had to contact their shipper and setup delivery. That I told shipper they could only deliver with forklift and I never made that statement. I replied and explained all. Northern Tool never replied to me. I finally sent a follow up asking if they were ever going to reply to my message as I need this item as it is scheduled for install.

The response from Northern Tool was appalling. They canceled my item and sent it back to their facility. Stating "each day it sits at the shipper we are charged a storage fee". Why is that any of my problem since this item was not to deliver until the 8th to begin with and their horrific lack of replying. I told them repeatedly not to cancel as I wanted this item.

As it stands today no responses from Northern Tool Amazon is fully involved. This company has obviously zero clue about customer care and service. Rating you with even 1 star is way too much. I would not recommend this company to my dog.

Will never order anything from you again your insulation filled bag exploded all over my truck when I opened it. 😤
