Thrasher Service

Tried to have Thrasher replace my hard wired garbage disposal and they refused unless I had an electrician out to install a wall plug first. No way was I spending all that money over a garbage disposal. Called another place and they came out the same day. Thrasher lost my business before they even had it which is sad as I live very close to their office and always wanted to give them my business.

Had an emergency situation which they responded to quickly (earlier than they'd estimated originally) and were extremely helpful from the get-go. They'll be my first point of contact for plumbing issues from here on out. Reasonably priced and worked clean. Recommend!

My favorite place. They installed our new bathroom about 5 years ago. They installed our new furnace and water heater about 2 years ago. We call Thrasher for any plumbing problems we may have. We love their prompt and excellent service. Thrasher is a family owned business and are friendly and easy to work with. Best of all their prices are fair.

My A/C wasn't keeping up this past summer, so I called a couple different companies. The first local company came out, and their main concern wasn't with fixing my problem, it was with replacing my furnace. That simply wasn't in the budget but I was told over and over that was my best option. I called Thrasher and they checked out everything, and told me that my freon just needed to be replaced. While they said I certainly could replace my A/C unit, they gave me several options. I appreciated that very much. Within a couple hours, my house was cold as ice again. Their honesty earned my business for the rest of my life!!! Thanks Thrasher!!!

I had Thrashers come out to my house to fix my furnace. I had never used them before but I was given there name from a neighbor down the road. I don't know anything about a furnace and not a very handy person. The person who came out was very polite and answered all the questions that I had. I feel that the price was very reasonable and I would recommend Thrasher to anyone in the Des Moines area as they were polite, knowledgeable and best of all fixed my heat!
I've recently seen there commercials on TV and think that they are pretty good.

My furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days of the year. I called them at 6pm and a service man promptly came out and fixed the problem. Dan was polite, knowledgeable and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend Thrashers.

Dave from Thrasher came out to look at my HVAC. Another company [which will remain nameless] tried to up-sale me--first to a new air-conditioning system and a few seconds later to a whole new HVAC system. Dave from Thrasher took a look at it, found an easy fix, total cost was $180ish. He saved me over three thousand dollars! Every other company said they couldn't come out for a week an a half, Thrasher came out same day. Thrasher is union, Thrasher cares about their work, Thrasher is honest. They made a life long customer today!

We called Thrasher for plumbing work at our home after we had bad experiences with two previous plumbers. Mike was nothing but professional, communicated well, was friendly, and fixed everything without issue! I could have hugged him after our previous experiences!
