I would give them 10+ stars if I could. We received 3 quotes from 3 different HVAC companies, and Bright Star's price came back MUCH lower than the rest. They are very honest, professional and true to their word. They made time in the middle of this heat wave to fix the entire Central AC system for my parents that are in there 80's. Job vey well done Jeff Skinner & Team! A++++++++++++

The tech that came out was very considerate and competent , he was running late on the job before mine and called me to let me know before he was scheduled to come here about the delay. I’m the type of person who usually does any work on our home myself.
(1) I enjoy doing so and (2) I can’t blame anyone else if it does come out the way I expected.

However, just recently, I decided that to hire someone to install a Mitsubishi AC system. Searching the web I found Bright Star Heating. They had great reviews everywhere I looked. Though usually somewhat hesitant about online reviews, I decided to get an estimate from Jim at Bright Star. My first impression of Jim, the owner, was that he was honest and trust worthy.

When the install team arrived, Lead installer Jeff Skinner and his team introduced themselves then asked to go over what was expected from my perspective and then proceeded to do the install of the system.

They worked nonstop and were very professional. They constantly made sure that the house was as clean as they had found it when they had started the installation.

After the install was complete, Jeff reviewed the operation of the unit and once more checked around to make sure everything was as they found it when they arrived.

It was exactly as I had hoped the install would have been when I had decided to pick Bright Star as my vendor of choice.

We had an emergency HVAC issue last Friday that was unfortunately caused by a prior vendor. I can’t say enough good things about Bright Star Heating in Wilmington. We had no prior relationship with them, but they put us next on their list and there there within 4 hours of my call. They provided an email and text confirmation with a photo of the technician who was coming to our unit. The technician was knowledgeable, respectful and didn’t charge us for unnecessary repairs. Price seemed reasonable. We’ll definitely contact them again in the future.

We have been a client of Bright Star Heating Supply Co. for over 7 years. The customer care and service are exemplary. Jim and his crews are always timely, efficient and respectful of our home. A prime example of this company's dedication was put to the test during the Columbia Gas event of Sept. 2018. Jim took time to go over temporary heating options with us, worked diligently helping us to have all paperwork in order for the claims agent, and as quickly as the gas service was restored to our street, Jim's team had the new furnace up and running. We feel fortunate to be part of the Bright Star "family". Our neighbors were so impressed that we were one of the first to have our heat back many also requested Bright Star's assistance.

I recently had to call Bright Star Heating for the second time to address an urgent issue. They do not disappoint in their responsiveness, availability, or turnaround time. On top of that, they have provided exception service. Something new I noticed in my most recent service call is that they sent me a text with a name and picture of the technician who would be arriving at my home. As a single female who lives alone in the city, this went a long way in giving me comfort around allowing a stranger in. Nothing but great things to say about this company - will call them again if I need service in the future.
