Jackson's Contracting and HVAC

My AC was not working at all during recent weeks of extreme heat. Searched for an HVAC contractor online and found Mr. Jackson, Was impressed by the reviews on his website and decided to give a call. Scheduled an initial appointment to assess the problem, which he did and then scheduled a subsequent appoint for the required repairs.

Mr. Jackson and his assistant were very thorough and knowledgeable about the system itself. They kept the appointments and even called the next day as a follow-up which I really appreciated. I definitely recommend Jackson's Contracting and HVAC for all of your HVAC needs.

After having water in the basement, I was initially concerned that both my water heater and boiler would need to be replaced, but thankfully that wasn’t the case. Both the water heater and boiler are up and running. Thank you Mr. Jackson for your quick response. I highly recommend their services! They are also friendly, reliable, and very skilled in their craft.

My experience with Jackson's Contracting and HVAC was amazing from start to finish. Both Mr. Jackson and his office manager, Tracy, were friendly and professional. Mr. Jackson was able to quickly identify the issue with our heater and fixed it same day. What a breath of fresh air it was to deal with a company with such great customer service!

I contacted this business in need of a plumber to fix my toilet and sink back up. The office responded promptly to my service request. On the day of my appointment I was also given a courtesy call to advise that they were on the way. Both of my issues were fixed in a timely fashion with very competitive pricing. My boiler went on me after Christmas and before the New Year. So I went without heat for 1 week while contacting other companies for free written estimates. A friend referred me to Jackson's HVAC and he was able to come out the next day to replace my boiler and get my heat working properly again and all at a reasonable price that I could afford. They were very professional and I would definitely be recommending them to friends and family as well as using his services again myself.

Trying to find professional, skilled, and affordable home repair persons is always a huge undertaking. Working with Jackson's Contracting was a refreshing change. The associate who help me schedule my appointment was professional and friendly, Mr. Jackson and his associates were the same. I hired them for plumbing work. They were efficient and reasonable with their pieces. I highly recommend this company.

It has been difficult to find a reasonably priced professional to replace my boiler. Jackson Contracting provided service on a very professional level. The crew was on time and work was done in a timely manner. I will glady recommend their services.

I’ve previously used Jackson's Contracting and HVAC for problems with my HVAC system which was fixed to my liking; therefore, when I needed a sump pump installed, I contacted this same company. He performed an assessment and stated he would be able to install the sump pump, however, the sump pump was installed improperly, as it constantly ran and there was an excessive flow of water onto my driveway which saturated the ground. He returned to fix the flow of the pump and stated he would return to properly place the drain so that the water does not saturate the ground. He has not called or followed up since. I hired another contractor who assessed and stated the work Jackson did was sloppy, in which, he fixed. Jackson's work was very subpar, which is a great disappointment.

RESPONSE:
Mr Jackson, You're appalled at the review and i am appalled at the service I received and the lack of follow-up on your part once i informed you of my discontent. You installed the sump pump August 27, 2021 and payment was rendered after completion. I noticed the problem with your work shortly thereafter, and called you on the morning of August 28, 2021 and informed you of the error on your part as well as the large discharge of water on my property. You came on August 30, 2021 to correct the constant running of the pump and informed me, you would install a system within that week to correct the flow of the water which saturated my grounds. I have not had any contact with you since. Tropical Storm Ida took place 3 days after, so please do not use that as an excuse for your lack of professionalism. We never had a conversation the day of Tropical Storm Ida. My review of your subpar work is based off of 4 different companies assessing the work you completed.

I was throughly impressed with the professionalism of Jackson's Contracting & HVAC. Mr. Jackson provided a competitive estimate, pinpointed the issue, and outlined all of my options. My new AC was installed within two business days and I received a follow-up call the next day to confirm my satisfaction. I would absolutely recommend Jackson's Contracting & HVAC in the future.

Needed to service my HVAC unit (basic maintenance and cleaning)..... who knew that you were supposed to service this thing twice a year...definitely not me 🤷🏾‍♀️.

The service and professionalism provided by Ibn Jackson was great. He explained everything to me and took time to answer all the questions that I had. The charge was very reasonable. I had did a little research on the cost for this service to ensure I wasn’t going to be overcharged...and his rate was lower than what I saw with other companies performing the same services. I’m supposed to receive a report in a few days detailing everything all of the services rendered. I would definitely recommend his services to others.
