Ignoring the inexperience and lack of detail/attention from the initial quote, our experience with the crew (Ryan) that came out to put in venting for our kitchen range hood was dismal at best. They cut a giant hole in the brick only to realize there was a stud in the way. Instead of being honest with their mistake, they began to leave mid-job where my husband requested an update on their way out. When they updated that they were going to purchase a reducer, my husband clarified that we initially requested for 8 inch venting and reducing it to 5 is unacceptable (6 is the standard industry recommended minimum). They disappeared for hours and eventually showed up with a reducer anyways. Husband clarified again that a reducer is unacceptable and they ended up just leaving. There was a lot of back and forth, lots of lying on the crew's part to upper management but at the end of the day, the 5 inch hole tells the whole story. Michelle refunded our deposit and had multiple contractors come out to fix the hole. Word of advice, send a follow up email after the initial consult/quote to ensure everyone is on the same page. There was a huge breakdown of communication from start to finish before Michelle stepped in. At least you can count on management making it right if something goes wrong.

I had my dryer vent cleaned before I got my new dryer. It was very clogged. Ryan did a great job. Spent a lot of time getting the air flowing.

I contracted with Quality Comfort Home Services (QCHS) in early April (2023) to replace my >20 y.o. furnace and cental air conditioning systems with new Tempstar NG furnace (non-condensing) and 3T single stage AC equipment. This job was made more difficult because the furnace and evap coil are located in the attic of my condo, only accessible by a manway in a closet ceiling. Two (2) full time and one (1) part time technicians worked the job from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Existing attic gear was disconnected, disassembled, and removed via the manway. New gear (furnace, evap coil, ductwork adaptors, and new plastic drain pan) were inserted through the same opening. Outside air temperature was 82 deg, in the afternoon, causing attic temperature ~100 deg. Despite many hours in hot, cramped quarters, the lead technician (Dave Myers) successfully made all the necessary mechanical, plumbing, and electrical connections. Both the new furnace and A/C systems operated correctly, without issues, from their first startups. The A/C quickly cooled the hot house to setpoint temperature, something that was not possible last summer and the primary reason I called QCHS this year.

The QCHS system assessment, sales, and installation technicians were a pleasure to work with and I am very satisfied with the results and the project cost. Based on this experience I highly recommend QCHS for standard or challenging HVAC installations.

Josh and his protege were able to clean all the ducts from the 6 plus years of gunk and aweful crud that built up within 3 1/2 hrs. Knowledgeable and professional. And the price was very reasonable. Our advice, get the service membership. Great price and discounts. Thanks again for your service!
