    My 84 year old grandma has AHS warranty and submitted a service request ending in 7322 on 6/19/20. This company was selected to complete the repair. On 7/5/20 I called spoke with Stef and was advised they were sending someone same day. They sent someone out who told my grandma it could be fixed and they were ordering parts which were ordered and would be available within a couple of days. Called spoke with Stef who advised parts were in and they were sending someone back out. My grandma told me that they never opened up her AC unit to diagnose only looked at it and was unsure if they were ordering the correct part. No one showed up as promised and after calling was told an additional $542 for “modifications” that were not covered under the warranty. They stated her unit was over 40 years old and could be replaced for $1800 out of pocket. After speaking with AHS they stated this company submitted a repair request stating they need to replace copper wires, etc. They refused to service without payment! I requested an email outlining the non covered charges in order to dispute with AHS which they NEVER provided! I called and requested the repair. They stated the part would take 3-4 weeks to arrive so I stated let’s replace the unit. They refused to do anything without payment. After calling another AC company they advised the diagnostic provided was not correct. I called AHS and requested a different service provider to give us a 2nd opinion! This company was prompt, professional and actually provided documentation to support their diagnostic! They fixed my Grandmas unit in less than 4 business days and she was only charged $115.00! Her unit is working great and did not need any modifications!!! This experience has been EXTREMELY exhausting and took over a month without her unit being fixed! The fact that you attempted to FRAUDULENTLY charge her unnecessary costs for Modifications that were not WARRANTED is unacceptable!

    In September 2018 our AC unit quit working, so we called the company. They came out said our outside unit was bad. We paid them $3,000 to replace the unit. It worked until the end of the fall.

    May 2019 we go to turn on the AC unit, and the AC doesn't work. We call them, they come out and say the part inside the furnace is bad, and we paid $1500 to have them replace it. The very next day the AC didn't work and we had to call them again.

    They have been out to our house a total of SIX times and the AC unit still doesn't work.

    We now have to pay for another company to come out and repair our AC unit and to have them review this company's work.

    We will be filing a complaint against this company with the BBB and with the Attorney Generals Consumer Protection division. Hopefully, with their help, we will get a resolution.

    I plan on updating this post as we go through this process, in hopes of helping other people who are having the same problems with this company.

    This company is the worst service ever! I made schedule with them through my home insurance to fix my AC and they were schedule between 11am to 9pm to be at my house. That was way too long of wait. I asked if they can come a little bit early than 9 hours wait which unheard of ! They said, they going to try give me one hour window before the technician come that’s the best thing they can do for me . After, patiently waited for 9 hours for the technician to come . They never showed up or called me to let me know they canceled the schedule.
    Please don’t use this company for anything.

    I was hesitant to write a review since this company name was given by a good friend but here it goes... Frog Pro came out 2 years ago for a full HVAC replacement. The next year the air was blowing but not cold so we finally got in touch with them and the owner came out and filled up the refrigerant. Last week the same thing happened again. The temperature kept dropping considerably in the house. The outside unit even froze up solid. I started calling Frog Pro twice a day leaving voicemails. Today is Friday and it’s been 6 days with no call back. We finally gave up and called a reputable company out. They had to add 2.5 lbs of refrigerant. Told us the unit Frog Pro installed wasn’t what they told us, it was a much cheaper version. They told us the installer should have obtained a permit and inspection which they did not. The wiring work was terribly done and all around poor work from Frog Pro installer. Seems like this company is willing to come out and install new units and take your money but not willing to answer the phone and stand by their work.

    Yesterday we made contact with them to assist with our AC unit and today the service was fixed instantly!!! Great communication about arrival time, what was wrong, and next steps in the life of our unit. Best part is the affordable price!

    If I could give a 0/5, I would. I was connected with Frog Pro Svcs through my home warranty company: American Home Shield. As a company, they are a complete waste of time. They came out to check out my furnace due to an inoperable condition. Upon first inspection, they claimed my furnace was not working due to a flooded exhaust tube which blew the draft inducer motor. Told me the next steps to get everything fixed. Told me that I needed to get the exhaust tubing redone @ a cost of $1100 through them. They also said I could reach out to the original installation company: CARE Heating & Cooling. I did as they said and reached out to CARE to see if they would repair their mistake out of good faith, they did with no issues. I called Frog Pro back to let them know and they submitted their paperwork. I receive a call from AHS stating they are denying coverage due to another company completing the initial repair. I am also told that they are denying the coverage due to an outside system causing the issue. I had direct contact with Rob, the owner; and Stephanie, the office manager. Upon every time of calling the office, I would be placed on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes. After about a week, they wouldn't even answer my calls. I called AHS back and finally got to a step where they offered a second opinion. The second company to come out: Climate Heating & Cooling; came out and did the job that Frog Pro refused to do, and got the furnace running again. Turns out it was only a capacitor that was bad.

    For those that choose to do business with Frog Pro, do so @ your own risk. Beyond that, who would relate a frog with HVAC?

    PS Frog Pro: I told AHS to sever their contract with you upon completion of my service request.

    So far I’m not happy. They were supposed to be here Thursday. No show. I called and there was supposedly some scheduling issues. Rescheduled for today. No show again. Called and left them a message, no return call and now their vm is full. Called my warranty company and their records show it was now scheduled for Tuesday. I was never informed of the change. Wasted a whole day and missed my nieces birthday party waiting on them. We shall see on Tuesday if I can change this rating.

    UPDATE: No show, no call again today. I called them at 8:15 this morning to see if perhaps appointment could be earlier. No call back. Tech never showed, never called. It’s now 9:28 pm and I have been 9 days without working ac. I will be filing complaints with as many entities I can find. Worst place ever!!!

    UPDATE 2: called this worthless company this morning. Actually got a live person. Asked why they didn’t show and was told they no longer do business with my home warranty company. When I tried to ask why they didn’t call me yesterday morning after I left a message to advise me of this, the response was you aren’t our customer and to get a better home warranty company. Zero care about anyone!! No common courtesy at all. And before they comment, yes I cussed! 3 times they were supposed to arrive and didn’t. Would have taken 5 minutes to let me know what happened. I could have at least been working on other arrangements. So, yes I cussed him out. I hope your business dies a nice painful death. You can be damn sure I’ll be telling everyone I know not to use you.

    While you say you’re sorry a return phone call yesterday advising me of this would have been great customer service. Instead you couldn’t be bothered as I wasn’t your customer. Negative review stays as is and will continue to be posted every place possible. I’ll do everything in my power to make sure you loose business.

    This company was sent into our home by CHOICE HOME WARRANTY, after looking at our furnace the tech, Shawn L. said he would call CHW to check on what they would cover and be in touch. He called back to tell us that CHW said we had 2 options...1) repair at no cost 2) replace the furnace and CHW would cover 2/3's of the cost, he told us how great this was that CHW was offering this and it was like X-mas day for us. Being that our furnace was 30 yrs old and CHW was offering to cover 2/3 or $2984.00 as he stated, we opted to replace the unit. The young man who did the install by himself had no receipt or paperwork for us when he finished and said the receipt would me emailed. We paid him our part $1681.30. Two days later when I hadn't received the receipt and couldn't get a call back, I reached out to CHW and found out that CHW NEVER approved any replacement, nor were they covering any of a replacement cost! We were lied to. CHW told Frog Pro Services that they would only cover to repair it and paid them $650 to repair it! When asking Frog Pro Services about this they were very rude and tried to tell us they never said that, which indeed they did. They sent us invoices from Air Tron with a different unit saying we needed to do our homework and get some real world prices. When researching the unit installed by Frog Pro, we found out it is no longer in production. We then decided to have a local reputable licensed contractor look at the work. We found out that the gas line needs corrected, flue pipe needs properly supported and a section replaced, and the return air needs to be properly sized with an accessible filter rack. He estimated the cost for the furnace installed was $2275 with everything being done the right way, not the $4665.30 furnace we believed we were getting from Frog Pro and CHW. We couldn't even access the filter without taking bolts out of the furnace. This all totaling over $500 to make right with the service call. We then contacted Frog Pro about these issues and we came to a verbal agreement(that was recorded) that this licensed contractor would remove their furnace and Frog Pro would refund our money. He said he had no problem with that. (and I say he, because on his voicemail he left me the name Pat, and during the recorded call he said his name was Robert) so I'm not sure who we were talking to but the number was his personal cell he stated with two different names. We scheduled for the Licensed contractor to remove the furnace and install another one, when we contacted Fro Pro on the same cell number to tell him what day it would be done, the guy was very nasty and said he's not sticking to his verbal agreement now (supposedly recorded by both parties, i know we sure have it) and called my husband names and was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! They said they were suing us for our bad reviews! One thing is for sure, we will see Frog Pro Services in court!

    I have American Home Shield (AHS) and they assigned my AC service request to Frog Pro Services. It took them 2 days to contact me. I have called back multiple times and no one answers the phone and their voice mail boxes are all full. I submitted a request through the online feature of the website and have not heard anything. There seems to be no way to contact them other than going to their office. Maybe I will try that.

    Update 6/15/2020: They have since fixed their phone issues and have been out to the house to diagnose the problem. Assuming they can get the AC fixed, I will come back an improve their rating.

    I was hesitant about this company when we were assigned them through our home warranty. I had read the reviews and thought the worst. But I was most pleasantly surprised! Sean came out when scheduled, was nice and friendly, fixed our AC, and went and took the time to check out other concerns of mine. He really went the extra mile, and I would definitely recommend them!
