As an HVAC installer myself I had no idea what to expect. I wasn't here when it was installed but they did a very good job. Leveled the pad with rocks, the disconnect box wasn't the best but I'm nit picking. The lineset was hung with plastic hanging strap so the copper won't discolor.The filter dryer was inside. No UV wrap but that's a MD thing I can do myself. Strangely the didn't insulat the supply plenum, so it condensates. All in all of recommend them to anyone. The things I see won't really matter to the masses. Charge was perfect too.

We were very happy with our experience with R&D. When our central AC unit stopped working on Thursday evening, our first call was to a competitor, who told us the earliest they could come out would be Sunday. Our next call was to R&D, and they were able to get someone out within 24 hours. Our technician, Jeannie, was great! She found the problem and fixed it quickly, and explained what the issue had been. And we felt the price was very reasonable. We were so impressed with the overall service we received that we signed up for their service plan. Highly recommend this company.

On a regular heating maintenance we were advised of a defective heat exchanger. System was 10 yrs old, so we elected to replace the heater & Ac to be more energy efficient with a longer lifespan. With pandemic delays for the unit ordered, R&D was able to secure an excellent brand to install immediately due to heating insufficiencies in our old unit. Ann & George went above and beyond to obtain the new unit. We were impressed by Steve & Dillon to install the heater and A/C units, efficiently, professionally & knowledgeably . They actually seemed to enjoy their work which made the experience satisfying. Great care was taken to protect all our flooring with tarps.
We would definitely recommend R & D HVac for your heating/air conditioning needs.

The team at R&D was fantastic. The service technician Sean was friendly, fast, and efficient in his diagnosis. Ann went out of her way to find the motor my AC system needed, verified it was under warranty and had it shipped within a day. As soon as it arrived, I received a follow up from Ann with an appointment to have Sean back out the same day. I would highly recommend R&D and plan to use them in the future.
