Aaron is a most excellent plumber. He is thorough and knowledgeable. As well as pleasant and professional. He provided detailed explanation of his work. The HVAC installers were also professional and knowledgeable. This company knows how to train their staff to provide excellent service. I will call on them again for any other work.

Repaired sink plunger in bathroom sink. A part broke. Had to be replaced and reconnected. I was shown the faulty part. A good job was done. Everything checked out well at the sink and I can use it again.

Great experience with an HVAC company ever! Mike did a great job figuring out the problem with our system and having it fixed that day. Mike sat down with us and explained all of our options and costs associated. We felt very comfortable with HL Bowman and Mike doing the work. HL Bowman is now my new HVAC company! We noticed the vent fan on our old furnace was unusually loud. We contacted H.L. Bowman, and they sent Josh to diagnose any problems with it. He was personable and professional. He also patiently answered all our questions, and explained our options. Based on his service, I would call them again.

I feel like 3 stars will cover the good. Arrival window was 11am-3pm. I received the 30 min. notice call at 11:05 am. Very prompt. Technician was very polite and professional when speaking. A genuinely nice person. Now the bad...I called them after seeing their deal. They'll unclog a drain for $83 or it's free. This deal includes a complimentary scoping (their camera) of the affected pipe. The technician saw my issue and immediately declared it to be a ventilation issue. Nothing to unclog. Recommended installing a clean out and a mechanical vent. Never once, did he attempt to actually look in the pipe for a clog. $490 quote and he left. Im not a plumber, but I've done enough around the house to know this was not a $500 job. $45 and 20 minutes proved that it was not the issue . Called the next morning, explaining the incorrect diagnosis and failure to even inspect the pipe. Tech was sent back. He used his camera and located a nasty blockage about 25 feet in. The new recommendation was to install a new clean out on the far end of the pipe and go in to break up the sludge to clean it out. $690 for the clean out installation and $400 to unclog the pipe. The $1100 quote really irked me. I said I'd discuss with the wife and get back to them. With $40 in part's, I spent 20 minutes installing the clean out. Then spent another $40 to rent a 50ft electric auger from a local hardware store. It took an hour total. I respect specialized services and understand it's not cheap, but their rates are ridiculous for what little actually needed done.

Nathan was very quick and efficient, described everything in detail about what he was doing and why. I happen to have a pretty old boiler so he went through everything about the possibility of getting a new one and what HL offers. Overall he was very kind, knowledgeable, and great at what he does!

Super friendly and informative. Loved that he went over all the details of why this or that is happening with our washer's drain system. Most importantly we didn't feel pressured to have additional work done, but we appreciated all of the information for work that would possibly need done in the future.
