We recently had Mitsubishi mini-splits installed at our home by Ocean State Air Solutions and could not be more impressed or happier with every aspect of our experience. Our initial contact was with Joe DeSilva, who is not only exceptionally knowledgeable, but one of the most sincere and honest people I have ever met. Joe offers a supreme product combination of top notch mini-splits and installation technicians unparalleled with regard to ability, thoughtfulness, communication and attention to detail. We obtained several estimates from different contractors for the job, including both Fujitsu and Mitsubishi units, and while we were sold on Joe and Ocean State Air Solutions when we placed our order, the installation validated our choice more pleasantly than we ever could have imagined. Prior to the install, Joe came by with Lenny, an installation supervisor, who with our desires in mind, created a very innovative approach to the installation which resulted in minimal negative impact both to the exterior of our home and the interior of our garage. Our installation technicians were Josh and Adam. Without qualification, they are the most outstanding professionals we have ever had work at our house. They were extraordinarily communicative, ensuring compliance with our desires as well as their progress on each important step, incomparably thoughtful in how their movements and actions would impact on our comfort and they were meticulous in their approach to and completion of the installation, optimizing the most aesthetically pleasing and operationally efficient fit I could have imagined. As a point of reference I should mention we not too recently had a major remodel done of our home, and not one of the dozens of professionals that participated in that large scale project were as impressive as both Josh and Adam. I had the majority of my office communication with Kristy, the installation coordinator, who was not only a consummate pro with regard to overseeing the installation, but a real joy with whom to interact. Wrapping up their above and beyond service in superb support of us as customers was Jane, who adroitly and cheerfully completed all the complicated certification and rebate documents, so we didn’t have to learn the intricacies of multiple system filing requirements or face the drudgery of unfamiliar paperwork to get our rebate. Finally, I had separate interactions with the owners, Craig and Marybeth Clark and through them as well as with everyone else with whom I interacted from Ocean State Air Solutions, it became quite obvious why all their team is so good and so pleasant; they are not just a team, they are a family. Leadership starts at the top, but the dedication, work ethic and attention to the customer we experienced went far beyond simple oversight, it was leadership by example to the degree every member of that team with whom we interacted conducted themselves as primary stakeholders, as well as extended family members. That entire team is outstanding. As you should be able to determine by now, we could not be more impressed or happier with our mini-splits or Ocean State Air Solutions.

We are more than satisfied with our experience having a mini ductless system installed last week. From the top down, everyone was professional, very responsive and friendly. The ladies in the office were just so helpful and answered every question I had. Lenny was great when he came out to help us decide what we needed. Our technicians, Anthony and Dylan, were just the nicest, hard working guys ever! I have never seen techs who were that knowledgable and hard working and they were neat as a pin!! You would never know there was work going on in our house when they left at the end of the day. I highly recommend this company and we already have our next project in mind! You cannot find a better company!! They get 10 stars from us and a Great Big Thank You!!

I requested an annual service for my 3 Mitsubishi mini-split units. From scheduling the appointment, to the reminder of when the technician was arriving, to the on time arrival, OSA was a pleasure to work with. Excellent communication, knowledgeable and professional technician (Matt), completely satisfied with the work done. This was my first time using OSA and will not be my last.

We decided to call Ocean State Air Solutions from their positive reviews. Glad we did! Great service by technician Giovanni, who was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and on time. Nicole from customers service was also great. Please keep up the good works. Would not hesitate to use this company again and will recommend to friends/family.

I recently selected Ocean State Air Solutions to install a rather large and complicated multi-zone heat pump system. The job took 13 days (team was on site daily - no delays) and included the installation of new ducting, two exterior condensers, two air handlers, and 4 ductless heads. This install would replace the oil heating system in the home and provide AC, which the home lacked previously.

I'm an engineer by profession so I approached this with a very technical mindset. Given the size of the system and the investment, I made sure to quote around with recommended installers. Ocean State was not the least expensive option, but Aaron did a great job of communicating and ensuring me of their technical proficiency through the whole process that it seemed a no brainer to select their bid. Most importantly for me, he did not get impatient with my technical inquires or push back when I wanted more in-depth analysis for system sizing. Craig, the owner, was also involved and helped to convey the company's commitment to providing the right system and provide feedback/ strategy on how to best design/conceal as much of the system to make it look as seamless as possible. He also checked in several times during the project to make sure the quality was meeting his standards.

The install team was great. Thanks to the ductless/commissioning team Josh and his helper (just kidding - thanks, Adam!) and the ducting crew - Nick, Jimmy, Jack, and Giovanni. Also thank you to Kristy and Jane back at the office for their help with coordination and the rebate/payment process.

Since the install I'm not convinced all the systems are working as intended and with an install this large that's not surprising. I've been in continued contact with Aaron to discuss and he has been very supportive. He has reaffirmed the company's commitment to ensuring we are satisfied for the long haul. Exactly what I'd hope for from a company who stands behind their work!

I'd highly recommend considering/selecting Ocean State to anyone considering HVAC installation in Rhode Island.

The owner was supposed to show up with Chris the new salesman. After a thorough conversation with the booking representative I thought for sure my needs would be met. Unfortunately my time has been wasted and I must report this to Mitsubishi since this is supposed to be a Diamond dealer. Chris lacked experience and all knowledge of HVAC. That’s not the worst part! He promised me some pricing as I already having completed the Rise Audit and being pre approved for credit was waiting to improve my hvac was Ghosted by Chris. No email no call no follow through. Disgusting waste of the 5th of July morning. Thanks for wasting my time and doing nothing to try and earn my business. I guess you have to pay this company for estimates

Definitely consider Ocean State Air Solutions if you are thinking about any HVAC services on the island. The wife and I were ready for mini split units, and after getting multiple quotes, Ocean State Air Solutions were the most responsive and seemed the most legit. There are probably options out there that will be slightly cheaper, but I would be more concerned with their process and quality. They contract an electrician, supply a permit, and keep things organized to make things easy for you. Ocean State air solutions installed four units and a condenser in our old Newport house within 3.5 days. They were extremely clean and professional, to the point that I was able to successfully work from home during the entire installation. They even checked in to figure out the best times to be loud based on my meetings I had for work throughout the day. They also can help you with the national grid rebate process. So happy with our ac units. Would highly recommend. Great service and great people.

Ocean State Air installed a heat pump at my house in July 2022 to provide cooling and heating for the first and second floors. Both the cooling and heating have worked very well and the installation looks neat. Both the the interior fans and the outside condenser operate very quietly. The rep explained everything thoroughly and patiently and didn’t push us to a particular setup. In our case it made more sense to go with the full heat pump ducted system rather than the mini split. The installation team were professional and did a first class job. It may be possible to get a cheaper installer but this local company does a quality job and uses the best equipment. Very happy and would use them again!

We were extremely pleased with the installation of our AC/Heat pump. The company was in constant contact with us and continuously walked us through all the steps and progress. They were also very neat and professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend Ocean State Air Solutions.
