Fairfax Cooling & Heating Company

We had an AC problem today and called all over the place to find someone who could come out quickly as our home temp was approaching 85 degrees. When I got ahold of Terri at Fairfax Cooling and Heating she let me know that she would do whatever she could to get someone to our home right away while other companies wanted me to wait several days and even weeks for a service call. Mike came out a couple of hours later and had the job done in minutes! Great customer service, prompt and professional. Thank you!

Fairfax Cooling & Heating consistently has great service and response time. Furnace was not working when I turned it on this season. They came out the same day and found a bad circuit board. Rather than putting more money into a 15 year old unit, they recommended I replace it. I also chose to update the thermostat. T.R. and his brother were out 2 days later and replaced everything quickly. Wasn't expecting the 5% credit card fee, normally it's around 3. Next time I'll write a check.

Excellent service. I called one of the big name companies and they told me they would call me to schedule my service for the same day (they never called back). Several hours later I called Fairfax and they were at my house within 90 minutes and finished with the service 10 minutes later. Everything was straight up and on the level and solved my issue with no fuss. Very nice both on the phone and in person and really seemed to care that they provided good service. Will definitely be returning to Fairfax in the future.

We called Fairfax cooling and heating after our ac unit stopped working. Mike came out after about 40 mins and fixed our ac unit! He was recommended by a friend, and I am happy to recommend him and his company to anyone else who needs AC work done

Major work done in 1 day and done well. Company feels like a small hometown business that cares for a customer and their home, not a check/charge.

Excellent service and recommendations for care of our Heat Pump. This is my go-to company for our home's heating and cooling needs. Despite this being a very busy time, Mike came out the same day and worked tirelessly until our issue was resolved. We will be resolving humidity issues in our basement with their help, too.

Used Fairfax Cooling and Heating the last two years for condo mandated maintenance checks. Both times I've received efficient service at a reasonable price, explanations for everything being done and advice for what I should be doing throughout the year to keep my heat pump going strong. As expected both times, they didn't suggest anything was needed other than the routine maintenance. In fact most recently they advised me I should *not* make an expensive replacement I was considering any time soon, as the expected savings would not make up for the up front cost or reduced reliability compared to my existing system.

Mike and his crew were very professional and communicative. They replaced our HVAC system (AC and Furnace) quickly for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend these guys.

Excellent and speedy service! Mike showed up within an hour of us calling with our issue. He was friendly and knowledgeable, explaining what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. Fairfax Heating & Cooling has been our go-to heating/cooling company for years. But last night we found out how really dedicated they are. Our heating system motor malfunctioned, overheated, and set off the smoke alarm upstairs. We called Fairfax Heating & Cooling at 11 p.m. and Terry answered on the first ring. Within minutes, Micky was at our door, told us what had happened and turned off the breaker to keep us safe. The next morning he was back with a new motor and by 1 p.m. it was fixed. We are huge fans of this family-owned business and you should be too!
