Worst company ever. In process of filing a lawsuit based on there substantial negligence. Only reason went through them was because our builder required us to to keep warranty. Even builder fired them due to too many problems. Will lie to you.
Update In there response they say please verify your name cannot verify. Its exactly the first and last name company had when i hired them, paid them. They will know my name soon enough when lawsuit is served on them. This is also a common response they give to other dissatisfied customers.
This WA State company is not licensed in my city, Burien, WA, so I can't pull a permit for the legally-required electrical work or heat pump installation inspections and permits. They have a current license, but only in Federal Way. They cannot install HVAC systems because, under their general contractor's number, they cannot do electrical work, nor can they do plumbing, even though they list water heater installation on their website. At installation time, they told me they could install a new water heater if I wanted one.
The company installed the water heater improperly. It will cost me $1100 to have another company fix the water heater according to code. That would bring the price of the water heater and installation up to $3300.
I'm glad I did not answer in the affirmative to the installer's question of whether I wanted to pay under the table. I don't know whether that's an illegal move, but it certainly wasn't professional
If you want to use this company, make sure they pull a permit first thing, for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Be prepared for them to hightail it out of there was they get your money. Customer service does not exist.
I'm really not impressed with Home Advisor. Part of their vetting process is to rely on customer reviews. That's quite backwards. It's their job to advise us, not vice-versa. They had to look up information about the NW, and I did the work for them. They will take no responsibility for their mess-up aside from trying to contact NW for two weeks. Quelle surprise.
For the first flooring company recommended by them, I had to pay a lawyer. NW - another problem. I advise you not to use Home Advisor or Angi's list.
The company just contacted me, April 14. 2023, saying that they are licensed to work in Burien. They are not licensed to work in Burien; otherwise the would not have refused to get the required permit so that I could have their work inspected. Talk to Jasmine Ro at Burien Planning. Anyone can call the City of Burien Planning Dept to verify. NW'S HVAC license has expired; they have no electrical or plumbing license and no L&I insurance. All this information is on file at L&I, and is now in Public Records with the State.
I would advise you to verify this information before hiring NW.
Northwest climate installed an AC at our home at a very short turnaround time. Many reputed hvac companies were not willing to take the project up since they dont carry the brand that works for the space we have. A few others were pointing out to supply chain issues for their inability to complete an install before summer, or were not responding to questions/ customizations.
Northwest were able to find the equipment needed and complete the install within a week of quote, and very well in advance of summer. They did a test run and it looked good. Now will have to wait for the summer to see how it holds up. They were also very reasonably priced.
We use NW Climate Control for all of are projects, 4-6 custom homes per year with at least 2 independent hvac systems per home. They have professional crews with timely installations that will pass or exceed all building standards. After installation they will troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise during construction or after the home is occupied. I highly recommend this contractor for A/c units both duct & ductless style; and any natural gas pipe/appliance need.
Northwest Climate did an excellent job installing our heating and air conditioning system. They were responsive to our needs and were prompt and courteous. We highly recommend NW Climate Control.
I highly recommend Northwest climate control. Alex was very informative about the equipment he offers which helped me choose the right system for my house. Once I chose the system I wanted, it was a very quick turnaround before it was installed.
Our furnace wasn’t doing its job and my family found them by their website. Great company. Fast and quality work. Replaced us a new furnace and restored the heat in our house. I would highly recommend them to everyone!
