Initially Moore came out to fix our furnace and replaced the faulty inducer motor within two weeks. However, the tech improperly installed the part and cracked it. We have been trying to get them back out to fix their botched job for three weeks. No one will give us answers as to what’s taking so long, we have called repeatedly and they say they will call us back and don’t. It seems we paid them and now they don’t care. Their customer service for fixing their own errors is absolutely lousy.
Update: once I posted this poor review and called again to initiate a refund, people were available to speak to me and had information and answers. While they were apologetic and wanted to make things right, they were also asking what it would take for me to remove my negative review and “make me whole”. I’m whole. My furnace is broken. This says to me they’re more interested in looking good than providing actual customer service. To their credit they are refunding 100% of what we paid under their 100% fixed or 100% refund policy.
Ray McGee and crew came out for 2 days. Great customer service was excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable, answered any questions we had in detail. Very professional and I would recommend them to family and friends. I don’t think you would be disappointed in your decision!

Joe was my tech today. He was informative - let me know throughout the process about everything he was doing and the specs he was looking for BEFORE he took the reading. I learned a lot about the workings of my heating/a/c system - and - he suggested I take advantage, if I needed it, Moore's plumbing services. It was great - he went way beyond what I thought was the scope of the service. Pictures were provided of everything he did, also.
I have used Moore Home Services for preventative maintenance on my propane-powered home furnace in the past and today they came for a scheduled annual check up. They were prompt and thorough, identifying two parts that had almost worn out and needed replacement (with spares that that carried on their truck). Having the parts with them was a big plus, since The Sea Ranch is more than 1.5 hours (drive) from Santa Rosa. I signed up for their annual check-up program through a modest monthly payment in their "Moore Rewards Membership" program. I highly recommend them to people at The Sea Ranch and other areas remote from (or even nearby) Santa Rosa.
Our Tenant called at 9am to let us know that they noticed a leak under the kitchen sink. Moore scheduled a service window from 12-2pm but called at 12:20am saying that the leak had already been fixed! Well worth paying the diagnostic fee + repairs!!! Total peace of mind as a Landlord knowing that we have a dependable service company like this on a Saturday morning!!! Thank you! I was able to enjoy opening day for my Daughters Softball team and didn’t have to “skip a beat” with my Coaching duties…
Emanuel from Moore Heat and Air, did an outstanding job on the maintenance of my heating system. He was efficient and performed the maintenance on the heating unit. Based on the maintenance report, which he explained in detail, a piece of the machine was not running as powerfully as it could be and gave us options about the repair. I appreciated his expertise and friendly demeanor. Thank you!
We are really impressed with team at Moore Home Service and pleased with the new ductwork in our home. Sam came out to do the estimate, he answered all of our questions, discussed with us our options, and coordinate the removal of our old ductwork. Abel and Manny did a great job installing our new ductwork, customized the settings on each of the vents to our satisfaction, and made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the job. When we replace our furnace next year, we will be sure to call Moore Home Service.
Moore Home Services is a professional, trustworthy and reliable company to call on for many types service. This last service call was for my yearly furnace checkup & cleaning. They document everything and take pictures so as years go on you have a documented history. The techs have all be courteous, professional and represent their company well. I've not had any repairs so I don't have costs for that but the maintenance is roughly $100. I would recommend and will continue to use their services.
Moore Home Services broke our heater today during what should have been a routine service call for an entirely different issue. They left us without heat on a night where there is a freeze warning in effect. Moore advertises 24/7 emergency service, but when you call them, they will only help you if you've subscribed to their $20/month premium service. We were pitched this service today by the technician and actually agreed to sign up, but since that agreement hasn't gone through yet, no service and no heat for us. Is it fair for a company to break your heater and then refuse to fix it in a timely manner unless you've paid an additional charge? This is really questionable. An answering service responded to our call and reached out to a Moore manager, explaining that Moore had left us with no heat. The manager responded that he wasn't going to help and we'd get a call sometime during business hours. AVOID this company. This lack of care is shocking and completely unethical. I'm filing a complaint with the CA Department of Consumer Affairs and highly recommend everyone else who finds themself in this situation do the same.
I thought our annual maintenance inspection/service was "six stars" out of five! Really, to date, I've had nothing but exemplary service from Moore Home Services and their dedicate team. Today's service technician, Joe, was as helpful, thorough and friendly as the others! I have come to trust Moore and suggest you give them an opportunity to earn your business as well.
