I got estimates from a couple of HVAC companies and I purposely chose companies that qualify for the SMUD rebate for an HVAC system. Their pricing was very similar to another estimate, but it included a more efficient system and qualified for the rebate. Nic at CABS was super helpful with a detailed estimate and the process with financing. CABS offers financing with Travis Credit Union; they had a very clear process to apply, and were always available to help. I basically got my estimate, made a decision the next day, and they were are my house 2 days later installing the new unit. Kevin and Danny were at my house in hundred degrees heat installing my unit. They were very communicative on the process. I also really appreciated everyone wearing shoe covers when they entered my house and they regularly watched out for my cat to make sure she didn't get outside. There was a small complication with my unit and Kevin came back to my house extra hours to make sure I had AC in the heat. They also brought us some portable AC units in between the removal and install.

We spoke with 3 reputable companies about installing a new heat pump to replace the original a/c unit and gas furnace in our 22 year-old home. CABS was our choice for value, knowledge, and ease of processing the rebates available during 2022. We were very pleased with the quality of products and service.

As always, the technicians were clean, friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of a trustworthy HVAC company.

I really appreciate the professionalism of this staff. From the Project Manager Nic, who was very attentive to our situation and worked hard to ensure we were completely satisfied with our install. To Yuriy Kosa and Kevin Shpyrka who did the actual install of our HVAC system as they were very professional and answered my questions and took time to explain their answers. Also to Ben who came out when we had problems with the system and was able to pinpoint the problem and communicated that with the expert William who was able to reprogram our system and got it to finally work to our satisfaction. Great team work and thank you for collaborating to get our system working properly. I'd definitely recommend CABS Heating & Air because they will ensure their customers are happy and satisfied.

I love this company! My neighbor used them and two families around the corner used them too! We all love this company! They are so responsive and professional! Peter came to my home to give me a free estimate and we scheduled the work for the following week. They send a text message when the staff are on the way so you don't wait around forever wondering when they will get there! Upon arrival the installers got right to work, were careful about my property, thoughtful of me and the dogs and did a great job on everything. They pulled the city permits, installed the equipment, including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and were present for the city inspection! I couldn't ask for a better experience!

I typically fix everything myself, but happen to be overloaded with work and life right now, so I am always cautious when calling a service company. I ended up calling CABS yesterday when my A/C went out and less than 24hrs later I am up and running again. What a great company! I think I spoke w/ Veronica in the office who is excellent at her job and a great energy about her and then Peter who came and fixed my A/C. First of all, he didn't even show if it bothered him that I was standing their the whole time and asking him questions. He explained everything in detail, made sure I understood the costs, had the parts on site and was done and gone in no time at all. Best of all, he didn't do anything that would cost me unnecessarily (really great guy). So, if you are looking for quality service from an honest company, call CABS. They get 5 stars X 2 from me.....

CABS has replaced my furnace and last year my AC. I have never had such an honest and efficient as them. They inform you of all they are doing and will assist you with portable air conditioners if you need them while they are servicing yours.
All my referrals has been extremely happy with their service. I just love all the workers and office personnel also. You can count on them and they are very reasonable! Highly recommend!
