I am expecting a house-load of out of town guests to arrive today and have been working diligently for days to create the perfect experience. Yesterday, while I was taking a quick break from pressure-washing the outdoor furniture I realized that our upstairs air conditioning unit quit working. I immediately called the number posted on the unit, Engineered Air, to schedule a service appt. They informed me that they couldn’t make it out until the following day (today). They gave me the choice of a morning or afternoon window. I picked morning as my guests would be arriving in the afternoon. I explained this to the person that I spoke with and confirmed that my window would be in the morning.
My family and I sweat through the night with little sleep eagerly awaiting my morning appointment. I scheduled everything for the day around this morning window and waited patiently for a phone call or a tech to arrive. My window was 8-12 or 1. At 10:00 I called just to find out if I could get a rough idea when the tech would be arriving. They said that I have an afternoon window. No one called me to inform me that they had switched my appointment. The person on the phone was casual about the change and non apologetic. I felt like I was dealing with a government agency.
Needless to say, I found another company to work with in the future and canceled my appointment. The new company will be out today and the service call is half the price that Engineered Air was going to charge. Wish I would have called them yesterday. I will post their contact info after the appointment. I’m guessing it will be a much better experience since they have 4.9 stars vs 3.5 “near me”.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They installed both flood switches on my A/C unit wrong on my new Pulte home. This caused a flooding on my second floor dripping down though my ceiling. They refused to be accountable although I have paperwork stating it was installed incorrectly.

The service is always exceptional, Your technicians are great, respectable and personable. The only gripe I have is a $500 bill. $125 Service Call plus a $375 labor charge and he wasn't here more then 30 minutes and I have a annual Service contract.
