Review of non functioning HVAC system (and prompt repair) followed by maintenance.

Upon having a pre-purchase home inspection I was advised the HVAC system would need to be replaced. A service call to Home Air Services lead to a prompt visit from a knowledgeable technician who gave me confidence that a few small repairs would have the system working. True to the estimate the system has been operating flawlessly for almost 10 years. I now have a service agreement with 2 annual visits and and am happy and confident with the service I have received and would highly recommend. Happy Customer in Silver Spring MD

Excellent technicians. I've been with Home Air since 1988 and have never been dissatisfied with the company or its techs.

Our furnace went out on a cold night. We reached the 24/7 tech that night and agreed that he would come out the next morning early. This he did and replaced the blower motor temporarily that day so we could get heat. We needed a new furnace so the second day Home Air installed a new Lennox, humidifier and smart thermostat. Installing a new chimney liner to code was tricky, so a chimney company came out the next day to accomplish that effectively.The work was done promptly, in a friendly manner, everything explained and we are totally satisfied.

Our heating system stopped making heat last week when the temperatures were in the teens. I called the company that installed the system and they said they could not get a repairman to my home for two days. I called Home Air Services and they sent someone out that afternoon. He replaced an electrical component in the unit and then tested the system which immediately began producing heat again. I am thankful to Home Air Services and will be using them in the future.

After my emergency service call, Home Air HVAC came back out to perform their annual maintenance inspection/tune up on all three systems. Replace the a capacitor and cleaned some filters, thank goodness for the annual maintenance program. :)

I would give less than 1 star if I could. I bought a house with a brand new furnace that was having issues. Their professional opinion was to do cleaning and maintenance, and their unofficial professional opinion was that the furnace was the correct size. The problems continued the following winter; when they came out, the exact same master technician said the furnace was too small and should be replaced. All 3 floors were fully finished space and the house footprint hadn't changed. It's hard for me to understand how the professional opinion did a complete flip flop. In my opinion, the cost of the maintenance was excessive. After an email exchange with the owner about all this, he chose to bring up my 'inappropriate' attire when his techs came (going so far as to point out his wife's agreement with his assessment, mind you), that was TOTALLY unrelated to the concerns I raised. My view is that he was attempting to bully, embarrass, or somehow discredit me. Totally unprofessional, demeaning, disappointing, and pathetic in my view, and in my opinion, they don't deserve anyone's business.

We've used Home Air for several years. Other than a couple of late arrivals, we've been very satisfied. When we had an emergency, it was taken care of promptly. In particular, Ghirmai is an OUTSTANDING technician.
