The installer, Earle and his associate Mark were very attentive to their work removing the old HVAC system and installing the new one. Measure twice, cut once. Every thing fit together nicely. Scoured the entire system to find any problems. balanced the air flow nicely. Instructed us with the new WIFI thermostat. They arrived on time each day, worked quietly, protected flooring and carpets with their drop cloths. They disposed of all of their trash and cleaned up at the conclusion of their work day. They were informative answering questions from us any time we inquired. We highly recommend the Alber service company as well.

The guys came at the agreed upon time. They told me and showed me what they were doing at each step. They worked diligently and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. They cleaned up well afterwards. They did everything the way I wanted it done and at no time did I say to myself “I wish they had done ........ differently”. Very courteous people who were easy to talk to and ask questions of. A very good experience. Job well done.

I was having a severe mildew smell coming into my apartment to my central air vents and my landlord didn’t believe me he called this company I can’t begin to tell you how refreshing it was to have a true professional come check out the issue. Bill was respectful, polite and very professional yet down to earth. He smelled it and he found the issue. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Brian at Alber Service Company did a great job fixing our air conditioning unit. He was efficient, explained everything clearly to me, and was very respectful as to wearing a mask, and being careful of my pets.

I have used Alber Service Company in three separate homes I worked directly with Bill Alber who I have to thank....he took the time to explain the process and answered many questions. Best of all with the work I was having done it allowed me to receive the $4,000.00 rebate from the state of NJ. Another advantage in dealing with Albers is the $4,000.00 was taken right off the invoice (they collect it from the State). I have always been pleased with the workmanship and the personnel. The work they performed most recently was installing a new Amana HVAC system, removing all the old rock wool insulation in two attics and installed R-49 fiberglass insulation, air sealing and encapsulation of my crawl space. This was a home I recently purchased.....so a lot had to be done. The men worked tirelessly on the project (Chris, Tyler and Brian) all were absolutely excellent. They truly showed respect for the home putting down drop cloths and always having booties on when they entered. The new HVAC system looks and works great, the air sealing and encapsulation should really help in keeping the rooms above warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer this along with the new insulation. Thank you all for a job well done!

In the fall of 2014, I bought a foreclosed house that had been empty for over two years. I am just posting this now because I did nothing then and want to get it off my chest. It's still bothering me.

The house had a Goodman heat pump, and I called Alber to test it out because they were an authorized Goodman dealer. I knew nothing about heat pumps despite being an experienced homeowner. Unfortunately, the technician who came out also knew nothing about heat pumps.

He checked out the unit and told me everything was OK. Imagine my surprise when the weather turned cold and my first electric heating bill was over $500 for a 850 sq. foot house.

Apparently the tech didn't know heat pumps use refrigerants, and my system somehow had lost all of its supply during the 2+ years the house had been vacant. It was running 100% on the emergency/backup resistance heat strips. The tech didn't notice this little detail.

So over $500 to PSE&G due to the Alber's technician's incompetence. I was so busy at that time I let it go. Now I'm quarantined with time to spare and payback in my heart.

It was 16 degrees cold this past Saturday and I had no heat. Bryan came out to my house and diagnosed my problem within a few hours. I can't imagine how painful my evening and weekenmd would have been without his professionalism.

We had open cell foam ( spray insulation ) done through Alber Services. Alber did not do the work. The website says they are certified but the job was really subcontracted to a really poor company from North Jersey. The company who does the work showed up over an hour late. When they arrived, the equipment was broken and the communication was poor due to a non English speaking crew. With several trips to Home Depot to get supplies to "Rig" the equipment so they could do the job it was a real mess. The job was scheduled to take 5 to 6 hours and really took 9.5 ( not including the hour that they arrived late ). The clean up job was just ok. We ending up cleaning up ourselves. Not what I had in mind for a $4000 service. In the end, the product was just ok.

After 10 years of very good service, this year has been an abomination. First. The guy comes out for annual service. He cannot figure out what is wrong, so he comes back the next day. Fine. The next day, he comes out and decides the problem is a major circuit board that will cost $1,200. Three weeks later, the circuit board arrives from the distributor, I was told this AFTER I called them up to find out where it was. The next day the guy comes out to install it. He gives up and then the NEXT day another guy comes out and determines it is something altogether different that is wrong. So now we wait for God knows how long for the distributor to ship another board. Still have not resolved the issue and I am beginning to loose confidence in this vendor.

Earle Sheaffer of Alber Service Co oversaw the installation of a new HVAC system in our Cherry Hill home, including attic insulation and bathroom ceiling fans. Earle and his crew efficiently installed a new furnace, hot water on demand system and air conditioner in the time quoted, with no mess. Hi crew, Mark and Tom G were professional and also very pleasant to interact with. We are very pleased with the results. Also BIll Alber did the initial energy audit and explained to us how to make our home more energy efficient and also how we could get rebates from the state as well as low cost loans to get the work done. The office staff, Laurie, Pat and Bobbie were all very helpful as well in getting all the paperwork done as well.
