Jude arrived on-time and his appearance was professional, and his attitude sowed that he was ready for whatever the service call might present. He asked probing questions to help in his diagnosis of the issues. He performed a thorough analysis of my entire HVAC system, not just the AC.
He explained each and every step of the diagnosis and repair process. He showed me the factory recommended settings and how my system was performing. He then made repair recommendations and with approval replaced the needed items.
Prior to the repair, he provided a full and thorough explanation of the service contract and how it would affect the pricing for the service call and the benefits I would receive int he future.
Based on Jude's performance today, I would highly recommend both Jude and Gold Medal Service to anyone in need of HVAC or electrical repair service.

Misinformed by call center on specific service that was requested. I asked specifically if evaporator coil cleaning is part of maintenance package no specific answer and booked a tune up service. When technician arrived, he informed it is a $200 additional charge on yop of the tune up. Also said capacitor is broken and there is a $600 charge to replace it ( cost of the part is $10 actually). Justified the high cost to labor and professional knowledge. Its a half hr job at the max and you can be your own judge on how much professional premium you want to pay for this kind of work.
When I called the supervisor, I was told the call center doesn't have all information and are not experts. Seriously, if you acknowledge lack of knowledge in your setup (and claim premium price for being a professional service and reputed company) why would the customer suffer? This is intentionally misleading and not unacceptable business practice.
Long story short, look at other options, I will also lodge a complaint with BBB and other appropriate forums.

Ramon Ramos was a professional all the way around! Loved his attitude and energy which helped me be at ease with the problem. Staff handling the calls and dispatches were also very knowledgeable and understanding. Very communicative and easy to talk to. Made the whole scheduling easy and smooth especially when it comes to an electrical emergency!

My a/c failed on a hot Saturday, contacted Gold Medal while not expecting repair tech on a Saturday, but tech arrived within a few hours. Very professional attitude, I explained problem, Lucas with tool bag and IPad went up into hot attic, quickly diagnosed the problem, showed me the failed part, and then completed the repair, a/c back in operation. He also took a number of photos (that later appeared in an email to me), diagnosed a motor not operating a peak efficiency and should be replaced. He also spoke of other problems with my 18+year a/c system that should be considered and offered options. Efficiently completed all the paperwork, billing, etc. Excellent employee.

He’s polite & friendly, very neat and tests the units thoroughly to keep them running at top efficiency and to extend their lifespan. I found the number for Gold Medal Services in the phone book. After calling around and not getting good service and few appointments that could be done in time. (My hot water heater was broken, and cold showers suck). They fit me in with a better time and price than anybody else had. My service experts were Mike and Ronald, I strongly recommend them, and their care from beginning to end was top notch. They checked my boiler, found out that repairing it was a waste of time and money, (it was over 10 years old). and replaced it, along with some old piping. Their time and professionalism is greatly appreciated.
