Empire Heating & Air Conditioning

I've had 3 fantastic, professional experiences with Empire. This winter they installed a new boiler system in our home on an emergency basis and this spring they installed 2 Gree AC/heat systems in same home and just yesterday they completed same AC/heat system install at our summer cottage. Fred drove over an hour to come see and give estimate for cottage job. 5 days later job was completed. Chris and helper Ken did a fantastic job with a difficult area to work around. They reviewed system in its entirety with me when done. All 3 installs were as good as it can get- no hitches, issues or headaches. A truly professional company to work with and I will continue to use them for all service work and do highly recommend them.

Worker made an error during the job. He repaired the water heater but it needed to be replaced only days later. The owner recognized the error, contacted me afterwards, fixed the water heater, and reimbursed us for the initial repair. Very classy and personable.

Just got our new furnace installed. We want to thank Bob, Ryan, Kenny, Dillon, Fred and Maurice for their prompt, professional and courteous service and attention to detail removing our old furnace and installing our new one. From the owner to the techs everyone is a true professional. Thanks guys for a job well done!

Steve and the team at Empire were great, they followed up and turned up when they said they would. The office team were always helpful. The job was not easy but Steve and his team made it happen. I was especially pleased with the quality of the finished job the removal of the old furnace chimney no longer in use and both the re--pointing and also the re-capping of the other two chimneys. Thanks guys.

I feel compelled to comment on the great response we got from Empire Heating and Cooling this morning. I made a call when I realized that the furnace was not working properly. Within the hour, the Empire serviceman was at our door and quickly solved the problem. It gives us peace of mind to know that on a brutally cold morning (-2 degrees) that kind of service is available. I have met a few of their people and they all are courteous and professional. 5 stars.

I have been using Empire Heating and Cooling for about 15 years and cannot think of a single complaint with their quality of service or work. For not being the most handy person, I have been lucky to be able to rely on Empire for all my home maintenance needs, whether its plumbing, chimney, furnace issues etc, Empire has always resolved the issue quickly and at a very fair cost.

I called for a furnace tune up in the fall of 2017 and was told I needed a new air conditioner. I was told that under no circumstances should I turn on the a/c in the spring because it could short out the heating system. If I acted fast, I would get a great deal. Instead of buying one, I had another contractor over and was told there was nothing wrong with my old unit. It's been working fine all summer, ever through the 90 degree days we had in July. When I contacted Empire they said because the incident occurred so long ago there was nothing they could do. They refunded the money I paid but didn't respond to my follow up questions. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and State Attorney Generals Office.

All the staff at Empire were great. From the person answering the phone to the technician to the installer. They made sure we had heat on one of the coldest days of the year, responded very promptly, and made the process of replacing our furnace very clear.

I have been a customer of Empire Heating and A/C for over 10yrs and absolutley love them. They have reasonable pricing, great service technicians, and very polite office staff. I also like that they have 24 hour service and there pricing doesn't change via day or night. Besides them coming and fixing my furnace for me they were also able to do some plumbing and electrical work for me also. I would like to thank them for the many years of serivce and will definitely recommend them to others.
