Empire Heating & Air Conditioning

We have been using Empire for many years. The technicians are knowledgeable and courteous. When I was pregnant and it was HOT, our AC went out. Fred it had it fixed right away for us. Always great service!

I found I had no hot water one morning and called Empire, which recommended replacing the unit. They came out that morning and installed it and by the time I came home from work, my water heater was in and working and everything was cleaned up. The installers were very professional.

Ron M. From Empire came by and was able to quickly diagnose and treat my plugged toilet and gave me helpful suggestions to prevent the same clog in the future. He came on time and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I would recommend his company to all my family and friends.

Horribly unprofessional. Over-priced scam artists. Convinced us, in our ignorance and fear, that we needed both our chimneys redone immediately. They scheduled and rescheduled with us, resulting in multiple unnecessary days off from work. They finally redid the chimneys, leaving empty used buckets in our bushes, globs of mortar all over the driveway, sidewalk, and walls. A year later, for our scheduled cleaning, (as part of the warranty or we would have never invited them back) they continue to be incapable of maintaining their appointments, despite scheduling months in advance and our taking days off from work to be home, only for them to not show and not call. Each time WE have called, we are told they were called to an "emergency." Apparently we will have to wait until we are the emergency.

I had been a long time customer of Empire, (7 years), the same tech always came to my house and he was very responsive and forthright. However, recently we had a leak in our furnace. My husband called and spoke to the receptionist, a gentleman texted my husband back and asked for a picture of our furnace and where the leak was coming from. He said they would have the part in a few days. It's now been nearly 3 weeks, I texted and the same guy called me back a few days later and said the part would be in on Tuesday or Wednesday, that was over 2 weeks ago. Since then we have texted, called and no response. We found the part for $4 at a local hardware store. I'm not sure what happened, I have always recommended them, but no longer. The level of customer service has deteriorated significantly and I will be sure to tell everyone who asks me about heating and cooling companies, to look elsewhere.

I have nothing but positive experiences with Empire Heating and Air. We have had several emergencies and they have always been there to help out. Their techs are very timely and polite. I always mention Empire when people ask for recommendations.

They showed up on time, the mechanic Dan was professional and knowledgeable. I will use Empire again.

Dan came immediately and fixed our AC. not only great at the job, he was friendly and pleasant.

I call my brother, he's at Mom's house, and ask him "What size is the furnace filter there?" He reads the edge and says 20x20x1. I buy a filter at HD. When I go to install it, I see the old filter sticking out 4 inches! The technician from Empire Heating & Cooling put a 20x20 in the spot of a 16x20. Even worse, the filter is dirty 4" from the top AND 4" from the bottom. The bum pulled the $2 filter out and reinstalled it upside down. My mother pays for this annual service every year. This shows me how easy it is for them to rip off an 80 year old.

Chris from Empire Heating has done work for me on 3 occasions. He’s professional, thorough, an expert in his field and an all-around good guy. I wouldn’t use any other company!
