Family Heating & Air Conditioning was fantastic! Very responsive, practically same day appt and very very reasonable. Our tech Brew went above and beyond with the repair and explaining in great detail our situation. The 'Coolest' company out there with the 'Hottest' prices :)

Brew was fantastic! He arrived on time and upon arriving he listened to my concerns giving his undivided attention. Within minutes he diagnosed the problem and had it fixed promptly. An added benefit was he slipped on booties overtop of his boots upon entering my home and never took off his mask. Brew was extremely professional and courteous. Would recommend him and this company to anyone needing HVAC services. We are very pleased, keep up the good work!!!

My old central air system died just as the weather started to heat up. I found Family through a web search but saw a lot of good reviews. I was happy with the price and the quality of the work done. They were able to get me scheduled sooner than I had expected. Everything about the experience was great!

I purchased a new home and the heating was a bit uneven and not reaching the temperature I was setting on the thermostat. The Family Heating & Air Conditioning team came out (Josh) and checked everything out. Unfortunately they found a crack in the furnace...worst case scenario. But they walked me through the steps to purchasing/installing a new one and were very accommodating with my schedule (which was much appreciated given they were not able to turn the heat back on due to safety measures). We ended up installing a new furnace and a/c unit. They completed the job in two days. They both were respectful, hardworking and open to answering my questions. The heat has been working perfectly, and they will be coming out in the Spring to ensure the A/C unit is working properly as well. Will be using them again.

Over the weekend when temperatures were below freezing and my heater would not turn on, I contacted them and Brew came out within 10 minutes. He was extremely professionally and had my heat up and running in minutes. I would recommend Brew and this company to anyone. He was extremely professional and made sure that it worked properly before moving on to the next job.

Had a such a great experience with Family HVAC. They came recommended by our Realtor. Had an original furnace breaking down in our new home. From speaking with our Home Insurance company, to doing the installation, to the first time follow-up prep for summer, Family HVAC has handled the entire process with professionalism. The work they did was very good and they have followed up right on schedule. We even had a neighbor who had a heating issue in February and we referred Family. They went out and resolved it for them. The Techs were very knowledgeable and pleasant, especially Brew. We would refer Family HVAC to anyone.

Upon arrival, Brew considered the information I had about my HVAC system and the failure of central air in my home. Within 10 minutes he had an assessment, and in another 10, the cost to replace an outdated system/labor, a detailed explanation of what the repairs/replacement would entail, and the time frame (3 hours, which seemed like magic!) to complete the work and have cool air filling my rooms once again.

Brew was joined by a another professional, and as they moved the defunct and broken parts of the HVAC from my basement and moved in the new, one would barely know they were there- both men respectful and focused, curteous and conscious of working in a residential home. Both wore masks and foot coverings.

Job completed, Brew explained the new thermostat, give me information about the company's gratis follow up a few months in the future, and answered a question or two.

While the loss of AC on a hot and humid day is uncomfortable and inconvenient and not a major problem, it is a 'big' thing when it happens. From the call to the receptionist at Family Heating & Air Conditioning, to the conversation with Farrel (the owner), to the super fast service and seemingly unbelievably quick replacement of an entire outdoor condenser unit and repair of a portion of the indoor portion of the HVAC system, I had a wonderfully cool evening, the discomfort nearly forgotten.

The word 'Family' in the company title as well as the reviews drew me to Family Heating & Air Conditioning, the friendly response to my call set my mind at ease, and Brew and his co-worker made the process feel no more or less aggravating than spilling a glass of water.

If you're HVAC is 'out', call this company. You'll suffer less, pat yourself on the back for your choice, and realize any distress you had was very short lived, in retrospect! :)

A great big thank you to Family Heating & Air Conditioning for their prompt, caring and exemplary service! Our old expansion tank decided it no longer wanted to be connected to the joists in our basement and took out our boiler and our hot water heater with a huge crash. Within an hour, a technician was here to ensure we were safe. Within two hours, we had a quote to replace both systems, and installation began the next day. We woke up that morning to a huge pallet in our driveway with all the equipment ready for installation! Brew, Joe et al had to remove our old system and the spaghetti that used to be our copper piping and exhaust ducts, and put together our new systems. It was all done within a day. Our basement was tidy and the house was again warm. We had a similar calamity with our air conditioning a year ago, and Family stepped up to the plate then, too. Very pleased with the service and all the personal touches. Two Thumbs Up!
