I would absolutely NOT use Woodruff and Smith Heating and Cooling, Inc.
After plunking down a sizable amount for a new heat pump. Installation was not entirely completed as unit was literally inches from water tank
and filter nearly impossible to change and confirmed by technician as well.
Owner indicated they could come back and move water tank. We agreed upon a day for which I would take off from work and have this done two
weeks from then. I made about 6-7 calls both to business/and personal
cell phone number given. No returned calls until finally, I was able to
catch Mr. Smith and he said he would be at my house on agreed upon date around 1 pm. I waited all afternoon - no calls to say running late or
even if having to reschedule........just a no-show. Bottom line -
Totally unacceptable, totally unprofessional but very willing to cash check with no follow-up. On top of all this, I have no paperwork, warranty info
and a thermostat that is not working properly but unable to get them
to respond or address issues at hand. Not a company of their word.
The shame of it is I have 2 friends wanting to install new furnaces and
waiting to see how if I would recommend then. All I can say is NO -
there are many reputable HVAC companies out there that stand behind
their service.

I got their recommendation from Nextdoor website. Ignition element was out. I called and they were at my home in 45 minutes. They accepted the 15% coupon on their website, even though the repair was not eligible. Very knowledgeable, patiently explained the issue and let me watch the repair. 3 weeks later, heater went out again and again prompt 20 minute service. This time a sensor was dirty and there was no charge. I will definitely be calling them when I need to replace my furnace. Thank you!

We own two properties and have been working with W&S for 10 years. We purchased a high efficient air conditioner and furnace for the one property ten years ago and they still run as well as they did when new.
We just purchased an air conditioner for the other house and it was installed within 24 hours.
For those ten years we have used them for annual maintenance at both properties and the service and responses to a couple of emergencies were as quick as we could hope.
Obviously we have been very pleased with both the service and products that we have received from W&S over the last ten years.
