AC went out on Friday night. After looking through reviews online I found Jon Wayne HVAC. I called them at 8:00 am. The woman who answered the phone was extremely nice and ended her greeting with a how can I make you smile today. Very clever. Within 20 min another woman called and stated they had a repair person on the way. Mike showed up within an hour of my call. He was not only very professional but very personable. He assessed the situation and tried different things to find the least expensive way to get us up and running with his expertise. All in all Mike was extremely courteous and very professional. His know how and explanations made for a great impression. Within 2 hours of my initial call on a Saturday I am back up and running! Great company! And great staff!

Sent in a service request online at like 5am for a leaking AC unit after waking up to hear water dripping where it shouldn’t. Literally their office called less than 5 minutes later to schedule. The tech arrived in the time frame given. Dylan F. did a complete inspection of our AC system, which was very detailed but went above and beyond just diagnosing the original problem. Which was fine; but there’s always things that could or should be repaired. After a complete check, he presented a variety of pricing and options. One of them I’m pretty sure came with a parade and fireworks! We negotiated what repairs I wanted and those I didn’t think were a priority then he completed the work.

Was it quick? No.

Was it accurate and detailed? Absolutely.

Was it priced reasonably? Higher than I anticipated but perhaps the detailed inspection found issues we didn’t know we had.

Did we join their secret AC repair club? Sure.

Would we call them again? Now that we’re in the club for 12 months, yes.

Both of the technicians were professional and courteous. They did their inspections in a timely manner. The recommendations made were informative without pressure. Looking forward to working with the company again. Their previous work in our home is still quality work. The rescue club is worth the investment.

There were two water heaters that were flushed and two tubs that had drains replaced. There was a third tub that the drain needed cleaning.
Our service technician, Hal Wirtjes, was right on time, very professional, courteous, and very thorough. He put down a floor mat before he entered the house and wore booties when he entered. He checked all the sinks and toilets and even checked the chlorine level and water hardness in the water coming into the house. He made sure everything was cleaned up after he finished his projects.
Hal is a super representative for Jon Wayne.

Our technician, Josh, was exactly the type of knowledgeable professional you want working on your home! Within minutes he expertly diagnosed the electrical problem, a failed breaker which was under a factory recall. In detailed layman's terms, he explained why it was failing, then identified 5 others in the same panel which should also be replaced to prevent a reoccurrence of this same problem. He had all the components and parts needed to complete the job on the spot without having to leave and return. He was careful, safety conscious, and respectful of our property. He expeditiously completed the project and left the area free of trash and in good order. He even recorded and texted a short video detailing the problems and the repair for future reference! Calling Jon Wayne Service Company was the easiest and best decision I've made concerning any repair call we've done on our property. I won't bother calling anyone else in San Marcos, and I will certainly ask specifically for Josh again in the future!
