In reference to the response one hour at $653.00 seems pretty high to me. There should be standard rates like for automotive work. Diagnosis fee then x number of hours to do the job with y amount for parts. Under your model of business the tech tells a price to home owner up front and the home owner thinks he is going to be there all day not one hour for $653.00

The gentleman who came to my house was beyond wonderful!! He was very thoughtful to what we needed and offered many great services that were gear toward our specific goal!! He was very nice to my nosy cat that followed him around my house. Winston still checks the door for him since he left!! Very great family company!! I will be using them again as long as Brandon Vinston will be apart of it!!

There is always good value to his proposals compared to competitors and professional courtesy that you see from his men reflecting tremendous quality. With many deadlines to projects being demanded, he has yet to fail. As a homeowner and a general contractor in the surrounding area for 20 years I most certainly recommend Glen and his team Colonial Electric.

I'm buying a property in Virginia but live in Florida currently. On the recommendation of the current owner, I called Colonial, and spoke to Jeff. I had some concerns about the electrical system on the property and knew it would need some work. Jeff said he would go out and have a look and let me know, at no charge. A few days later, he called back with an estimate of the work needed, and was extremely helpful in not only recommending what I needed, but also what I could postpone until a later date, along with his impression of the overall state of the electrical components. He even took the time to look at items I hadn't asked to have inspected, and was able to reassure me they were OK. I will be calling Colonial back to schedule the work once the sale is completed.

Josh, the service tech unclogged a toilet in our master bathroom. Very personable, professional, and efficient. Gave sound advice on how to avoid clogs. Would definitely use him again for any plumbing issues.

This is my second time using Colonial Electric Services and again I am very happy with the service provided. They came out the next day and got everything fixed in a timely manner for us. Patrick was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!

Ok, so I have to say this. Colonial Electric backs up their work and reputation like no one I've seen. I would describe their leadership as admirable and loaded with integrity. We had issues with a small job that we expressed online. We got an immediate response by management. They wanted to make it right and went well above the call of duty and more than made it right.
