I was scheduled for a technician to arrive from 11-1. Having gone through this before I was prepared for an all day ordeal of sitting by the phone and waiting for a call. To my surprise, Carlos arrived right at 11 and got straight to work. He took time to explain to me what he was doing and how I could prevent it in the future, offering little tip as he went along. I actually learned a great deal about HVAC systems from this short visit. Very personable, no sales pitches, felt like honest work. Only charged us for the replacement part, and the standard service charge. The service charge was about $40 cheaper than the Colorado Springs standard rate just FYI.

I was having AC issues during the summer and called Home Heating Service, Inc. I got an appointment same day, with some initial advice over the phone as I was booking the appointment. The technician, Scott, showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and helpful, and diagnosed and resolved the problem immediately. Also gave me some best practices to use so we wouldn't have problems in the future. Awesome, timely customer service. I'll always use them in the future!

2023: Ultimately, and after much optimistic coordination with Home Heating, they are very much like many of the other HVAC companies that I have dealt with with in Colorado Springs. After much time and coordination with Home Heating, they will not honor their commitment to quality of service and will perform "inspections" only to serve their bottom line. This actually bums me out to say this since a few of their workers are genuinely honest and hope to serve the customer well, however the company does not echo that service commitment. For that reason, I now (and after a long time of interaction) must downgrade their rating.

June 2022: Scott did an outstanding job repairing our A/C (i.e. replaced fan blade, cleaning blower motor & fan, and refilled R22 w/ sealant). A/C purrs like a kitten and is putting out cold air - ready for summer. Thank you, Scott; and thank you Home Heating for the military discount! I think we will go with Home Heating for all of our future HVAC needs.

April 2022: Jared came out and gave an updated HVAC replacement estimate - much more reasonably-priced than other nearby competitors. Will likely replace within a few years, however going with reasonably-priced repairs from Home Heating in the near future. Thanks, Jared!

August 2021: Max did a wonderful job inspecting our HVAC system and noting areas that actually required repair or replacement. His assessment was far more honest and reasonable than a recent, competitor's assessment, so we will likely be going with Home Heating for our HVAC repairs. Thanks, Max!

Very happy with this company! Our technician, Michael, went above and beyond with helping me - going as far as walking through the house and teaching me about the different systems and appliances we have and how to best utilize them until we can afford to upgrade. The techs that came out for installation were just as knowledgable and friendly, and I appreciated that they put on booties when they saw we don't wear shoes in the house. We'll definitely be using them for future projects, repairs, and maintenance.

Twice the warranty company came out for a gas leak to the hot water heater. This house is a new build. Each time there was smell of gas after they said they fixed the issue. Local gas company came out and red tagged the repair twice. After dealing with the incompetent company twice and getting red flagged twice from the gas company I decided to have Home Heating come and fix the issue. Turns out the prior company put dopa(goop)on and in the compression fittings. Black hills energy also saw the previous connection and said that is not correct. The previous company replaced the line and did that again with the dopa, and didn’t tighten it down enough after over tightening on the first repair.
I’m happy to say there is no longer a leak. The hot water heater is upstairs with the bedrooms and I was unable to leave the gas on to the water heater for a week. Now I feel safe and it was well worth having home heating come and fix the problem. The technician was wonderful to work with.

We are always satisfied with Home Heating Service as they do a terrific job. Jared was very professional. Showed us the defective part and within 20 minutes had it in and running perfectly! Highly recommend him.

I had an amazing experience with Home Heating Service from start to finish. Jared came out to give me an estimate on a furnace replacement, he was professional & quickly assessed my needs and educated me on what would work and would not for my situation. There was no sales pressure, I was given a couple options to choose from at affordable prices. Joel and Marcus came out the next week for the install. They were polite, professional, incredibly tidy, they answered my gazillion questions and are really knowledgeable. Overall I can't say enough how much I appreciated the honesty, efficiency and professionalism in customer service that I received. That's incredibly hard to find these days!! I will definitely use their services in the future and confidently recommend them to others. Thank you guys for making a large, potentially stressful purchase so pleasant!
