Anyone looking at these reviews will notice that there are none for their remodeling projects. I can tell you, my experience with their remodeling has been absolutely horrible!
I gave a list of what I wanted to Ted, the contractor who came to give an estimate. My list specifically stated that I wanted a frameless shower. I never indicated what kind of door, just that I didn’t want a frame. It turns out, Ted wrote the estimate with bypass doors but didn’t indicate whether it was a framed enclosure or frameless, as I’d asked for. So, I hired these guys figuring that I was getting the frameless that I’d specified and that they knew some way to install bypass doors on that.
And then they installed a framed enclosure, which is exactly what I did NOT want. And now, JF Denney expects ME to pay an additional $1,300 to get the frameless shower I’d asked for, rather than the framed one with bypass doors they put in.
But, as irritating as that is, it isn’t the reason I’m disgusted with this company. My disgust is because they don’t seem to know what they’re doing.
It started with them causing water damage to the floor of the bathroom they’re remodeling and also to the ceiling and walls of my home office below it. At no time has the company ever had someone come work on fixing those things, even though it’s been two months.
On top this, FOUR OUT OF THE FIVE PLUMBING FIXTURES THEY INSTALLED LEAKED! (Both sinks, the shower head, and the bathtub they’d installed.) Every time, the company has blamed the product manufacturers, but it’s difficult to believe that all three different manufacturers (Moen, Proflow, and Onyx) messed up.
Meanwhile, thanks to their inability to fix the leaks without repeated trips, my 3-week, $28,397 bathroom remodel is now going into its SECOND MONTH. Will they actually fix the leak when they come tomorrow for the FIFTH TIME? Who knows!
But I have ZERO CONFIDENCE IN THEM now, so I’ve decided I will hire someone else to fix the water damage to my office ceiling and walls that this company caused.
I am absolutely disgusted. I feel ripped off and worried that any any time my expensive remodel project is likely to start leaking again. Hire someone else — you’ll pay less money and won’t have these kind of regrets.

JF Denney's technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. We had scheduled an appointment between 0900 and 1100, and the technician showed up at 0830. That is the JF Denney difference!

The price was right and the level of service exceeded my expectations. I normally am not one to write reviews but felt it was necessary after this great experience. Called Home Depot regarding an installed water softener that was not working. They said they would send Chris out who knows all about softeners. He checked out the current system and showed us it needed to be replaced. Got a reasonable price and installation was flawless.
