High Performance Heating and Cooling

We had a routine cleaning done on our Furnace and Air Conditioner. We have used HIgh Performance in the past for other cleanings and always had a good experience. As with all appliances in the home, these are starting to get up there in age. Joe performed the service then took time to talk to me about potential issues that are happening with our 13 year old furnace. He was very professional and clearly explained everything to me. The best part about the discussion was that he was not pushy. Nice job, we will be back in touch.

Our 54 year old boiler quit Saturday night....spoke with Matt Sunday morning. Joe came within a few hours, gave us an estimate and offered heaters to get us through. Unfortunately for us this was this past week when temps were dipping to below zero for 2 days. They arrived and worked into the evening to get our new boiler installed. Matt( the owner) , Pete and Gary were friendly and courteous. They went the extra mile to keep all areas clean and organized with drop cloths to walk on . We hardly knew they were here. All were happy to answer any questions. A great team player attitude from each of them, a well oiled machine. They responded immediately to a phone question. Thanks to all of them for getting us a cozy home again !

Nick and Joe are the epitome of professionalism. They were on time, professional in appearance and professional in all manner. They Introduced themselves and went right to work. They clearly explained what they were going to do and then proceeded to inspect and clean my furnace in a timely manner. After a long day at my own job it was extremely pleasant to come home and find two cheerful workers providing a much needed service. They even laughed at my lame jokes! We will be definitely using High Performance in the future. Don’t make a mistake and go with pretenders- these two are the real deal. Truth!

Joe M. was fantastic. Friendly and personable....very professional. He did a thorough troubleshoot of our system, found the problem and had it fixed in the shortest amount of time. He made appropriate recommendations for future upgrades and a service contract to save us money in the future. He even went upstairs to be sure the heat was warming us up before he left. Hot water heater went out early evening and a call was put in for service.
Representative arrived shortly after that and was very helpful and professional. Next morning a new heater was installed. Awesome customer service and great folks to work with. Last year during the coldest day in March my furnace stopped working. After countless calls and frustration Joe from high performance was the only guy to show up all day. He was very understanding about my frustration and assured me I would have heat by the end of day. After trying to fix my 40 year old furnace he gave me the bad news that I needed a new one. Again Joe was there to explain different options on purchasing a new furnace and didn't try to sell me one I did not need. He showed me one one that fit my house and after the purchase he ran and brought a few space heaters so that I would have heat. After all was said and done it was about 10pm that night. One year later guess who comes to inspect my furnace? Joe of course! Thanks for all your help.

Tyler was very personable and helpful when he came to look at our furnace and quote us for a new one.
While people from other companies charged us for quotes and couldn’t come back for days - High Performance gave us a free quote that was much more reasonable, gave us a space heater to use in the meantime at no charge (you just give it back afterwards), and were back the next day to install a new furnace. I cannot tell you how grateful we were for that space heater they loaned us, as the temps dipped into the teens that night.
The team of three got the old furnace out and the new one installed in a very timely manner.
I definitely recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

High Performance Heating and Cooling answered my call on the first ring, were up front with their pricing and gave a reasonable estimate on being able to come assess our furnace. Joe M called when he was on his way to see if he could arrive 3 hours early (he absolutely can when I’m sitting in a 47 degree house!). He was professional and swift in fixing the problem and getting our furnace working again. Thank you, Joe, for helping warm our house back up on a cold, wintery day in Rochester.

I know everyone has their own perspective of thinking but I had a very bad experience with this company. They didn’t have a Ladder 32’’ to get to the roof to maintain my AC unit, they came out twice without ladder, the technician said his truck was at the shop so he was using a Van, and I called the service to get someone with truck, but the lady said because the technician was out here twice, I should call another company. Big wow and wow again. Unbelievable. I would come up with a better excuse like we’ have short-staff or because of COVID-19…
