Last spring my heat pump froze up badly so I shut it down and thawed it out. Called Westin Air who came out and by then the weather had warmed up and he said it was working well now and would probably work OK until the weather got cold again. That is exactly what happened. In the fall it froze up again. Called them again and he found a bad defrost sensor and then checked out the furnace and found a bad capacitor and circuit breaker. Spent much of the day here and ran all over town to get parts. Did not charge me for some of the installation and while I am handy person I had no experience on heat pumps or furnaces. He toke the time to explain to me the operation of these things and showed me where all these parts were and how I could tell myself if they were bad. Also what maintenance I needed to do myself. The cost of all this was also very reasonable and less than I expected. These are the most HONEST and caring heating and air conditioning people I have experienced. Unlike another company who claims to CARE who way over charged for a part and for maintenance and cleaning which consisted of running some water over the outside of the cover and never checking for plugged drain holes which wound up ruining the bottom 3 inches of the radiator core due to ice build up. Also wanted to charge 300 dollars for a furnace part I took off and cleaned well and has now worked perfectly for 2 yrs. John R.

Cathy gathers all specific details of your site in order to determine the proper sizing of your AC/Heating needs based on calculations and fact. She is willing to answer all questions in an honest friendly way and does not pressure or push to sell anything beyond what you actually need. The installation crew was professional, friendly and took great care to protect the floors as they worked in the house.

Reasonably priced and great personal customer service. I will recommend to anyone who asks for a referral from now on.

Our 13 year-old A/C failed died in the middle of a heat wave (always). Our long-term A/C contractor told us they might be able to get someone out to give us a bid in FIVE DAYS! Called Westin and we had a fully operational, brand new, Trane system up and running in less than 36 hours from my first phone call. Responsive, reasonably priced, and far exceeded expectations!
I called to schedule a check of my humidifier. It was very loud and I was concerned it was not working properly. They were able to have Seth come out same day. He determined it was just the water pressure and lowered it. He is very knowledgeable about our system, which I appreciate! He is also very nice.
I spent over $8,300 with this company on a new furnace and air conditioner with a five year warranty on all parts and LABOR. One would think that they would have better records to remember their customers.
I needed a new furnace and air conditioner on my 26 year old home. So, I checked out a few companies and found three that fit my needs in price and professionalism.
Cathy from Westin Air, came out and gave me a quote that I could live with. It included a warranty for five years including all parts and LABOR.
Installation went well including a dehumidifier. The installers placed the water source on the COLD water source, although it was previously on the hot water line.
When I called in for service to correct the situation, the repairman bad mouthed the installers. The repairman said that he couldn’t touch a saddle valve nor install the proper one needed, although they had done plumbing work including the gas line. I had to call the manager to rectify this.
Subsequently, every time I’ve had to call them for service, the receptionist say’s that I’ll have to pay a $79 diagnostic fee.
I have to explain this to her (and prove) to them each and every time including the technician that comes out because he too try’s to charge me for a service call.
When my warranty expires, I will not be using this company.

The house was 77 when I called when she called back it was 84 in the house I said to her our house is 84 degrees! She said “you said it was 77 earlier” this was her reply? We called another company who repaired it that evening.
On April 13, 2018 Westin Air installed a Trane S9V2 80k BTU furnace and XL16i 3 ton air conditioner in my home. Also included were a Honeywell Vision Pro 8000 thermostat with WiFi, Honeywell Filter Media Air Cleaner, pads under both units, all electrical rework, replacement of all refrigerant lines, and a one year service agreement with fall and spring check-ups. I cannot say enough good things about this company. From the first visit by Kathy, who provided the quote, to the installation by Seth and Jake, to all engagements with the office staff; everyone was transparent, honest, straightforward, and hard-working. Seth and Jake were courteous, thorough, and polite. They were professional and went the extra mile to make sure that all my questions were answered and concerns were addressed. Westin Air's quote was complete and around $1000 less than any of the highly rated competitors from whom I received quotes. I highly recommend this company.
