Vernon The Heating & Cooling Specialist

Vernon Heating and Air is a great company. I have used them multiple times for service to my AC/HVAC. The technician, Travis came out and was extremely professional and took his time making a diagnosis. I trust this company when they make recommendations on repair/replacement, and know I am not being ripped off or over sold like other companies do.

When I called to make our appointment, I was given the typical couple hour time frame for a technician to show up. Collin came within the first hour of that time frame, which was fantastic. He was quick to the job and was able to diagnose and get the AC running again very quickly. It took more time to wait for the breaker to turn on than it did for Collin to get his work done! He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we’re happy to have gotten a service contract with Vernon, which was surprisingly cheap for all that it includes. Hopefully, we won’t have to call them anytime soon for more repairs, but when the time comes, I’ll happily be calling Vernon again!

Technicians were great. Darron came to do a routine maintenance and found issues with our heat exchanger. He immediately called a senior tech to verify and present us with options. Ben came that evening, checked our unit and confirmed there there were issues with the heat exchanger, verified that there was no CO2 leaking into our home and offered us two options, fix or replace. Since our unit was just turning 10 and we hoped to get a few more years out of it, we opted to replace the heat exchanger. Ben returned to install the new heat exchanger a few days later, made sure all systems were working correctly and did the work in a prompt and professional manner. We have been customers of Vernon for many years and the superior service these two techs gave us is the reason why we will be faithful customers for many more years.

After having 2 other companies fail at identifying the source of a leak in my AC system, I opted to call Vernon HVAC Services. Mike, their Technician showed up as scheduled and on time. He carefully and methodically trouble shot the system until he discovered where the refrigerant leak was.

He provided a professional service, also provided two solutions to fix my problem. At the end, I opted for full system replacement after the company offered me a great value choice plus an 18 month no interest financing option which made my decision a no brainer. Additionally, the new unit installation was scheduled for 2 days latter.

Highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

Highly recommend Vernon Heating and Air. Found them through an ad sent through the mail with coupons a couple of years ago. Their senior field specialist, John Beardsley, has been my technician during that time and he has always gone above and beyond to help me with my heating and AC needs. He is kind, courteous, professional and explains everything clearly and concisely. He takes the time to make sure I understand what is happening with my system Recently my AC quit working and I used their online form to request service. They promptly answered and sent John out the same day. John and his co-worker Cole did a thorough examination. After discussing it with John, I decided it would be most cost efficient to replace both the AC and furnace. John went out of his way to get a portable AC unit for us to use while waiting for the installation which happened today. John took care of us during this stressful period and I can't thank him enough. Also, Richard, Devon and Sean, the three technicians that did the installation were fantastic and did the job quickly and professionally, cleaning up all of the old parts along the way. Before leaving, Sean took the time to show me how to program and use the new thermostat which I am thrilled with. I am extremely grateful to all three for their help in getting my house cool again.

Came with in the time frame stated, and inspected my very old unit quite well. I appreciated the tech advising that it was likely time to get a new unit, but didn't push hard on it. Tech was also very respectful, both in terms of politeness and of my property. Would definitely recommend.

I had my furnace & water heater replaced today. Brian & Kenny were great! It's a tight closet that the units are in & while I could tell that it wasnt exactly easy they both worked together to accomplish getting the job completed in a timely & professional manner. We've had Vernon since 2001 & we've always received excellent service whether we're calling the office or speaking to a technician. I recommend Vernon to everyone that asks. When our air conditioning and gas furnace started acting up, the first company we called was Vernon Heating and Air Conditioning. We have been working with them since we bought our house back in 1998 and have always had great service. George Riley from the Sales/Service division came out and gave us a complete diagnostic of our system and offered several options for either fixing , or replacing what we had. Due to the age of our current equipment, replacing seemed the smarter option. George explained everything to both my husband and myself and answered all of our questions. He provided us with several different options which we were very pleased about. In the end, the equipment we choose to go with was very competitively price and we were so glad that we could get this done the very next day. The Install Team of Andy and Steve H arrived at 8am as planned and did a fabulous job. They even went the extra mile by making sure that our dryer vent was properly placed for maximum efficiency as not to interfere with the new air conditioning unit. They cleaned everything up so much so that you would not have known that we had just put in this new equipment. They also went into great detail with how the new control panel worked so we had all the important information about our new heating and air conditioning system. We appreciated the professional way that both the Sales/Service and the Install Team treated this transaction and all the details provided both my husband and myself.
