I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vernon Heating and Air, and their awesome technician, Mr. John Beardsley !! We have been very pleased with the service we have received from them over the years ! Most recently, Mr. Beardsley made a service call to our rental property, he found the problem quickly, and explained the options. Based on his assessment, we decided it was most cost effective to replace the system. He then worked with us to order a new system, that was both within our budget, and would meet our needs for many years to come. I really appreciate the extra time he took to explain all of our options. Thank you so much !

We have been regular customers of Vernon in our Fairfax County for a number of years. We have used them on our home and other rental property. Their services are excellent and prices are reasonable. We recently had them do the annual inspection of our air conditioning system that they installed a few years ago.. The service was first rate. Our technician Clayton was courteous, knowledgeable and left the premises clean after he was finished. We feel very fortunate to have found a company that you can trust to be fair and honest with their air conditioning and heating services.

I had Vernon out to look at our A/C unit that wasn't working properly and they quickly diagnosed the problem and offered solutions. I scheduled an appointment for the following morning to have the new unit installed. The technicians Mike C and Will were very prompt, professional, courteous, and neat. They installed the new unit, explained what they had found and done, and answered any questions that I had. They also cleaned up after themselves as if they had never been there. I was very pleased with my experience with Vernon and will be using their services in the future, should i have any further heating or A/C issues.

My husband and I were not necessarily in the market for a whole new heating and AC system, however, when we purchased our home earlier in the year we knew that we would eventually (sometime soon) need a new system. We attended the Dulles home show and met Mike at his booth and scheduled an evaluation with him two days later! He arrived and was very clean and professional, informed us that our system was in pretty bad shape and rather than just telling us what the issue was, he showed us what he was talking about. Gave us multiple options from fixing the system to pricing out a few new systems. During the pricing system, he really worked with us to determine our needs and figure out the right option for our home. We finalized the order and got an install date 2 days later!! Our technicians were Zach and Andy who were absolutely WONDERFUL! They were clean, knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and show me around a much more high tech system than what I had before so there was quite a learning curve. Mike, the tech that originally come to evaluate our system even stopped by to check everything out and make sure we are happy, I can't say enough about the level of customer service and we absolutely love our new system. Thank you Vernon for making what typically is a painful experience not very painful!

We too have been Vernon customers for years and have always enjoyed prompt, excellent service from some the best people I've come across. Just had a new system installed today. Mike C and Kenny C did they removal of the old and installed the new. These two gentlemen are just superb. They arrived on time, extremely friendly and courteous. Immediately put down floor covers and started to work. They explained things as they went along and cheerfully answered my questions. Kenny gave me a tour of the new system with features that are new to me and Mike gave me a complete explanation and hands-on demo of the new thermostat. Few of us are thrilled to lay out a chunk of change for a new system, but I am thrilled with the experience. Vernon is fortunate to have service masters like Mike and Kenny. Thanks guys.

We have a service plan, so we see just about all of Vernon's Residential Service Techs. Today, Tony came by to check the air handler and heat pump. He was also very good, excellent, I should say. He confirmed the low level on the HP capacitor and replaced this one component from stock kept on the van. He reminded me of the coupon for $25 Vernon provides with their service call ticket each visit. No expiration date to worry about. My HVAC system warranty expired in 2018, so the charge was expected and not exorbitant. The capacitor is guaranteed defect-free for two years. Fixed the same day. They came right out (on a Saturday), just one day after their reminder call for a system check-up, so why would I use any other company? Keep up the good work!

Bryan and Colin were complete professionals. My new air handler was installed in under 4 hours and is working perfectly. They were very neat and clean and did not leave anything behind. If you're ever in need of expert knowledge and service, call Vernon.

I've been using Vernon for several years and I've been so pleased with their responsiveness, knowledge, professionalism, and pricing. Most recently, Mike L. paid a service call due to a leaking air conditioning unit.
Mike remembered me from last summer when he replaced a malfunctioning condensation pump. The diagnosis this time was a clogged line and Mike once again patiently explained how to avoid this by cleaning the line out regularly. He and I both know that I won't remember to do this but I appreciated his taking the time to explain basic maintenance without making me feel like a dope. He's a friendly, upbeat professional who arrives on time, cleans up after the work, and takes the time to explain what the issue is and how he's going to fix it. The cost seemed reasonable, especially given that they were at my door within 24 hours!
