Vernon The Heating & Cooling Specialist

I spent about an hour this morning with Mike from Vernon Heating going over a possible purchase of a new HVAC system.

He was very straightforward, informative, obviously proud of his company and did everything possible to give me the information I needed to make a decision.

He gave me a full written quote and explained all aspects of the pricing and the service guarantee and warranty. I told him that I would be seeking two other quotes and he said that was just fine.

I was very impressed by his knowledge, appearance and demeanor. No hard sell, just information presented in a very cogent manner.

I have dealt with Vernon before and have never had a problem.

I have been using Vernon for the past 2 years and have always had a great experience. Jessie completed the summer maintenance check on my system yesterday and did an outstanding job. He was very thorough in his inspection and took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions and offered suggestions to maximize the system while keeping costs low.

I called Vernon on Tuesday morning to get an appointment for a technician to come give me an estimate on a new AC system. I was able to get someone scheduled that same day.

When Mike arrived, he introduced himself and reviewed the situation. He completely checked out the current system and made a recommendation for a new system. Mike explained everything about the new system, what it would do, its capabilities, warranties and price. Mike was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable.

We were very pleased today to have John from Vernon come to see about our air conditioning issue. He was extremely patient and very accommodating to our unique situation. He did all he could to correspond with our landlord and his main office to ensure that we receive a solution to the issue as soon as possible. His compassion for us with the fact that the house inside temp was nearly 90 degrees was above and beyond what many would do. Many kuddos and thanks to John! We are very happy to be getting a new unit first thing tomorrow morning.

I realized in the morning that our AC was not working like it should be. I called them at 8:30 and at 10:00 we had a technician at our house, fixing the problem. The technician called to let us know when he'd be there and arrived on time. Luckily, he had the part in his truck and less than 2 hours after I called, we had our AC fixed. Everything about working with them was easy and professional. I'd definitely recommend them.

Zach was our technician, skilled , friendly and explained everything clearly. Even at the end of a long day and after cleaning a fried mouse from our AC unit he was cheerful! He earned a reward!

I was expecting him to try and sell me a new system like so many technicians from other companies have over the years, but he gave me an honest appraisal, and got my system working more efficiently.

Excellent service! Service tech was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Found a small issue with our outdoor cooling. Fixed within 20 mins! I even signed up for their maintenance plan while he was here.

George just came to perform my annual checkup, he is always so professional & personable. He takes great care to keep the carpets & area clean & he's friendly with my little dog. He always takes the time to thoroughly explain everything to me & offers tips to help things work more efficiently.

I love Vernon Heating & Air, they've been my go-to HVAC contractor for over 20 years & I've never been disappointed with their service.

So I was turned onto Vernon by my last landlord who always used them for any hvac issues that we had over the last two years. They were on my short list for who to call when I bought my own house and needed my furnace serviced before winter. I called on Thursday and Mike was here on Saturday for the inspection. He informed me that we needed a new unit since the heat exchanger was literally falling apart. He suggested a unit in our price range and good for our small house and walked us through financing.

On Monday Mike C. and Andy M. were out before 9am for the installation. A couple hours later and voila I had a warm house. They cleaned up and were on to the next job. Everybody we spoke with or met from Vernon were very professional and helpful. I will for sure be using them from now on, especially since they're warranties are great and the price is worth the work.
