Baker Electric Home Energy

Baker was referred to me by a neighbor for a Solar Array. They came to give me a fare price quote with all the info I needed. I hold design and installation certifications for solar so I knew they were being fair with me. They completed the job much sooner than expected and sent my neighbors a referral check for $250. I recommend Baker over the other companies that gave me quotes.

Baker Home Energy just replaced our roof in preparation to also install solar panels. Their roofing team of JC Solarzano (Lead) and crew of Eduardo, Alfredo, Justice, Cristian and Jason was outstanding! They were each very professional, polite, and obviously very experienced.

The team showed up every morning on time, and were always attentive to safety, quality work, and customer relations. JC always showed us pictures of situations they encountered (water damaged wood, termite damage, etc.), and communicated progress to us daily. They always worked an entire day and each day when they left, cleaned the area immaculately.

Their interpersonal relations among themselves were harmonious; they are a great team together. Their communication with us was stellar. We are 100% satisfied with the job this team did on our roof! I hope you too get this team to do your job.

Baker Electric installed solar panels and a battery for our home last summer. The company also installed a new roof for us, in the area where the solar panels were installed. We were extremely pleased with our Baker Electric experience and, in particular, by the quality and knowledge that the Baker Electric team brought to the project. The company does such a professional job "project managing" the whole process - Carmen, our Project Coordinator, was always there to ensure we understood the status of the project and to answer our questions. And our post-installation questions were also addressed to our satisfaction. The team who installed our new roof was just exceptional - Pedro and Nick were the Team Leads for the roofing team, and we found them to be professional and focused on not only doing a great job on the roof work but also, ensuring that our questions were answered and requests were addressed during the entire roofing process. Our Baker Electric-installed solar energy system has been in place for about 8 months now, and we are very glad that we chose Baker Electric for this project.

I RARELY write a review and when I do, it usually isn't good. Finally I get to write a good one. The entire Baker Team went above and beyond. I have spent so many years in the field wishing that I could get the same customer experience that I give to others. Finally! It has happened! From the sales, the office personnel all the way to the professional installers, the never faultered once. They all went above and beyond and the installer finished the experience with a clean and quality install. Fully thought out all the way to the best location for the condensate line. He literally walked our home to find the best location for function and looks. When he was done he didnt just pack and leave. He gave us a thorough lesson on how to actually use the functions of our AC system. As a field worker I also had to notice that he left the work area in better shape than when he arrived! After 3 other quotes, we are glad we picked Baker Home Energy.

Marco was OK, but it took Baker 2 months to send a tech out to fix my inoperable Solar system I purchased from Baker. I spent over $4,000 in electricity bills from SD&G as a result. The inverter failed and was covered under warranty but I am still out $4,000 as a result of them not taking care of my problem. Very disappointed in Baker. Mark-Encinitas CA

This is my second house with Solar installed by Baker. I couldn't ask for a better partnership. Baker is a rock-solid company.

Baker Electric takes very good care of their clients. I had to switch firms when my previous installers went OoB, and then my system had a issue, and Baker picked right up and helped me. My technical rep, David Fontaine and Installer, Marcos were both very responsive & professional. I highly recommend this company!

Technician Marcos F. did a great job investigating, working to fix and explaining the issue with the solar control panel. The office did nice work in scheduling the appointment, and keeping us up to date on when the technician would arrive.

I would recommend Baker Electric for a homeowner’s solar needs.
