The new air-conditioning unit is perfect! Gus came out quickly late on a Friday night to give us an estimate which was very fair. Wally and Luis were on the installation job promptly Monday morning with all permits in their possession. They worked tirelessly through lunch and got the unit installed that very day before 5! I have been checking my energy dashboard and am so happy to note that the usage is drastically reduced meaning the new system should more than pay for itself in a few years. I highly recommend this organization and these people for all of your cooling needs. After the installation, Gus followed up a number of times, checking to ensure the unit was performing up to our standards and assuring that we were totally satisfied.

Called Penguin Air on a Friday aboit 3:30-4:00. The lady told us to give them about 2 hours and a tech would be out, Gus was here within an hour of my call. Gus was very friendly and professional the entire time he was here. He seemed genuinely concerned about the needs of our family and gave us a full detail of what was needed and why. He answered all of our questions with sincere answers and was very patient with our concerns. Great experience!

Our air wasn't working they came over and replaced the conductor, it switched on and off. He told us the compressor was bad and had to.replace the unit. We asked how much the outside unit would cost and told us the whole thing had to be replaced at 5800. We know that wasn't true since we had the units replaced at different times before. Got a second opion and they put in the capacitor and lo and behold it worked. They just wanted a sale
So instead of 5800 it was 300 and my house is comfortable

My system had been struggling to keep my home at 80 degrees during the day, so after doing my research online, I decided to call Penguin Air. A technician was at my home in about 90 minutes. Marchelo was friendly and explained the system was leaking refrigerant. Steve from the office explain my options for repair and compared to new system so I could decide. Being the system was 14 years old and may need more repairs, I decided to replace with new TRAIN system with warranty. Everything was measures and the new system was scheduled for the next day.
Two technicians showed up the next morning as promised, they were friendly and polite and did a great job. They took the time to clean everything before leaving and showed me how the thermostat works.
Now my home is cool again.

20+ year old unit died Called Penguin first thing this morning. Gus was here first . Gave us the price of the unit. Fair deal about what I was expecting. Very helpful and courteous. 2 hours after Gus left 2 crews came and removed our old unit, installed slab and tie down for new unit. Technicians very courteous and helpful in explanations. Have air tonight . Great service Definitely recommend. them

Gus was a pleasure to deal with, he came out to service my A/C unit and diagnose the trouble I was having with it .It did not take long for Gus to diagnose my problem and tell me my options. I had a 12 year old A/C system that was undersized for my condo and the compressor was loosing Freon from it . Also the cooling fins were rotted pretty bad, not a good quality system , it was contractor grade for sure. I knew I had to replace it after Gus showed me all of the facts. He gave me a few options and different price ranges for me to decide on , no pressure at all , and I picked the more expensive Trane unit , made in America 10year warranty for its longevity . Gus promised me the install could be done the next day with his crew and he kept his promise .His team did a neat, clean, professional job all in one day just like he said , and he earned my trust as a customer . Gus is a great asset to this company and I will be a customer for life with Penguin Air .

My experience with Penguin Air has been very good. I've been using them now for 6 years. I've always called for Gus the technician to come over. When I feel comfortable and trust someone, I'm a stick and stayed. I don't feel like he's over selling anything I don't need. Being a tradesmen my self, I know qualified people when I see them. I called several different top rated companies and finally settled on Penguin Air based on their professionalism, quality parts and most importantly, price. We had a challenging job with two older systems. Gus came out and broke down the steps necessary for them to convert the house from two systems to one. Once we settled on a price, the team was out the very next day to begin work. Gus and his team were able to remove both systems (inside and out) and install my new system with modified duct work in two days time. We had a prior contract with Penguin in our old home in Fort Myers, so when we decided to replace our A/C system in our new home in Cape Coral, we chose Penguin to do the job
Chance, Steve, and Glen installed our new Lennox system. Their attention to detail and professionalism was excellent. Glen even helped me navigate my Nest thermostat app ( because i will freely admit that I’m technology challenged.).

I cannot say enough good things about Penguin Air and Gus. I have a home in Cape Coral and the air-conditioning system had never been replaced. Over the years, patch jobs were done on the a/c system, and recently there was water on the kitchen ceiling and it was coming from the a/c system. I called Penguin Air and someone came out immediately to assess the situation. I then received a call from Gus who told me that I needed to replace the a/c system because patches were no longer going to work. He explained in detail what needed to be done. A day later, I had a new a/c system that is running beautifully and there are no leaks! Without hesitation, I would recommend Penguin Air. It was a pleasure dealing with Gus who takes the time to explain everything, and all went smoothly because the men knew what they were doing.
