It may be strange to review a company who didn't do any work for you, but I felt it necessary to recognize someone for their honesty in an industry known for taking advantage of customers.
I had both of my oil furnaces fail within a week of each other. I called the company who had serviced them a few months earlier, and their recommendation was to replace both furnaces. They left me with a cold house and a quote for about $10,000. Suspecting something wasn't right, I looked for quotes from 2 other companies. The first company took a look then never sent me a quote.
My experience with Wendell from Total Comfort was completely refreshing. Before quoting the new system, we took a look at the condition of the old system. After wiping the nozzles and doing a little cleaning, the furnaces fired right back up. There was no charge for this repair, and he wouldn't accept any money to thank him. He still provided a quote, which was a bit less than what the first company quoted. Since the furnaces are a bit old, I'm sure a replacement is in the near future. When the time comes, I'm going to hire Total Comfort Mechanical to do the work.

The guy was on time very polite find the right fault and fix it in one hour and don’t charge any extra very reasonable.

The crew showed up on time each day and placed tarps down throughout my two-family home to protect the areas as they worked; each day ended with one of the crew vacuuming anywhere work was done. The company's quality of workmanship is very high and the system once completed worked wonderfully. I'm a very satisfied customer and have recommended Total Comfort Mechanical to friends since.

Had a long chat yesterday and I was assured that Total Comfort Mechanical had the skill and integrity to handle my problem. Having had a bad experience with another company I was concerned that I would get burned again. I finally decided that I could trust Total Comfort Mechanical and waited patiently to hear back. I heard back they said they couldn't take me on. Had they told me yesterday, I would have been fine. finding out today, after all the assurances I am less than impressed. For anyone searching for good service and integrity, look somewhere else.

I woke up to a cold house, as my furnace venter/inducer motor had failed.
I called Total Comfort at 7:10 AM, and I got a real person rather than having to leave a message. The tech arrived exactly at the predicted time,
10:30AM, carrying the correct replacement part, as I had described the symptoms on the the phone call, so there was no need to have first a diagnostic visit, then order the part, then come back again. By around 11:00 AM, my furnace was running perfectly. I was a first time customer with no service contract. The price was slightly less than my previous service company would have charged with a service contract. What a pleasure, I have never experienced such wonderful service!

Truly a professional and trustworthy company, with a quick response time. We searched for a year for someone to install ductwork for a kitchen exhaust fan. Even the appliance company could not suggest anyone. I took a chance and called after seeing their truck in our neighborhood. The office staff are friendly and they understood our needs.
We also had our AC unit servicedfor a very reasonable price.

Wendell came to give us suggestions on how to efficiently vent out the hood, and sent his staff out a few days later. I now have an odor and steam free kitchen and they left my kitchen cleaner than when they got there. Total Comfort deserves 10 stars!

Wendell and his level of care to address the specific concerns in resolving the heating/cooling issues in the home can be summarized as attentive, practical, and cost conscious. His employees are loyal and very hard working and they performed impressively in the complete replacement of my heating and cooling equipment for my home.
