We used Royal for a recent plumbing issue at one of our properties. They came out the same day and even stayed late to really help us out. We are really appreciative of their services.

On Sunday 2-26-23, a water line broke in my basement causing my basement to flood and the line had to be cut off by Aqua, I called AHS to hire a plumber who hired Royal plumbing, who has on their message system when you call them that if you had an emergency to call their emergency line. Now if I lived by myself it would not have been considered an emergency but I have two children one being 5months and the other being 8years old. I explained to them the urgency and after coming to look at the problem for five minutes on Tuesday and realizing that the problem was bigger than what’s cover under warranty they left my house and 15mins later I agreed to pay the balance and they were unavailable to come out to fix my problem until Thursday, which I again explained the urgency and the call taker never acknowledged my problem and made it seem as if my problem didn’t matter.

I had a great first experience with Royal Plumbing today. The plumber who made the visit to my home, Trevon, was smart, knowledgeable and friendly.

The technician was very professional and explained to me about why my pipe backed up. He was prompt and completed the job zealously.

Showed up on time, very friendly, very thorough and didn't procrastinate. I would highly recommend Trevon for your plumbing needs.

Lacks common sense and the ability to see or, is a shill for the home warranty company. I have a leak in my ceiling from the upstairs bathroom. It's not accessible from the access panel for the bathroom and can only be detected once their is water damage to the ceiling. It can only be accessed to be diagnosed and repaired by cutting the ceiling. This company reported to the home warranty company that this leak was detectable upon ordinary visual inspection. It's unequivocally not; home inspection, photos, and common sense all agree. But I appreciate their 'candor' because they've earned this review, ensured I will never give them my business, and tipped me off to canceling the home warranty since the warranty has proven unable to abide by the terms of their own contract.

In addition, the technician had a difficult time wearing his mask properly and it was repeatedly under his nose or pulled down completely.

I used this company through American Home Shield for a second opinion about our toilet. Though the toilet issue appeared to be the same as the first company, Chris with Royal Plumbing was very helpful in taking the time to actually explain the reasons/issues (unlike the first company...). They were quick to set up the appointment and Trevor let me ask a bunch of questions about the installation to help me learn for my own future knowledge. Thankful I found them as a company and plan to use Royal Plumbing in the future!

This company is a day time robber. They charged me $540 even my water heater was covered by American Home Shield Insurance. They called it modification even installation was covered. Four parts they installed, one of them wasn’t necessary (Flue pipe) They can easily reuse the old one. They charged for gas line $135 (less than $5 at local hardware store) $135 for Flue pipe (less than $10 from local hardware store) and $270 for two soft water line connectors (not more than $60 at local hardware store). They did it because they can and I wanted my water heater fixed asap. No ethics. I already reported to AHS insurance company and I am going contact attorney general’s office for this price gouging.

This company is completely unprofessional! I’m sad to hear that it’s black owned ! Their employees are very rude and they yell and hang up the phone on customer’s. There’s videos on the internet of people exposing them! I wish I could give a 0 rating! Super disappointing!
