M&B Heating and Air

After 33 years on both our A/C and gas furnace, it was time for their retirement. M&B gave us the lowest quote, and installed the entire new set in just seven hours, fortunately on a warm December day. The crew was pleasant and professional, forcing me to listen to classic 80s rock only when I peeked into the attic to assess the progress. Good company. Good job. I recommend them to anyone.

M&B Heating and Air were recommended to me by neighbors. I’ve had to use them in an emergency, for regular maintenance, and for a repair. In each case, they were very responsive and timely. Everyone I’ve dealt with there, from sales, to technicians, to office personnel, have all been great. I’d definitely recommend them.

M&B did a quick and great job for me when my HVAC went out. Jacob spent the time necessary to diagnose my problem. He’s a great repair man and communicates so well. Always cheerful. Kenny came over and we discussed options, I chose the system that I wanted and he called Shawn to bring me two loaner window units to keep me comfortable while waiting for the unit of my choice to arrive. The two young men who came to install were very professional also and went above and beyond. I will certainly continue using M&B.

Had a great experience with M&B. Technician explained what he was doing if I had questions, and why he did it one way rather than another. He was very thorough in his maintenance and inspection of the unit. I could tell that he was passionate about what he was doing, and saw the job out until completion. If something was not the way that he wanted it, he just didn’t side step it, he figured out why it was that way and either corrected it or informed me. I will absolutely be using M&B again. I highly recommended them.

I have to say, I am very impressed with my entire experience with M&B! From my initial call to speaking with the owner, and the installation of two new systems and thermostats everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. Matt, Darnelle, and Shawn did an outstanding job from start to finish! As a former HVAC technician myself, I could not have done a better job on anything they touched. They treated my home with respect, were professional, on time, and their attention to detail needs public mention. After much debate on which company to hire, I am so glad I chose M&B. M&B Heating and Air went above and beyond to service my heating and air system in Charleston, SC. Best Buy improperly wired my smarthome thermostats and M&B came out and identified the problem immediately. Additionally - I have used them to repair my A/C in the past and they are always prompt, professional, and provide high quality service. Will use M&B heating and air every time in the future!! I went through 4 other companies before finding Robert Meade and Daniel and Matt. They not only re-installed someone else’s equipment that had been improperly installed initially but they brought everything up to code and dealt with a 40 year old system as well. They never gave up on finding solutions and worked diligently no matter the amount of time and stood by their price quotes.

If you have a geothermal unit or a Florida Heat Pump, Robert Meade is your man. I’m so glad I eventually found him. Not only a professional in his field, but a thoughtful human who communicates with clients both clearly and with courtesy. If only all service technicians could learn from him, life would run so much more efficiently.

Was very happy they responded quickly. Was very surprised with the final bill. I was given a price and was not informed of the additional work or pricing. Also the technician was not here close to what he said and quoted some ridiculous hourly rate. Not likely to use again. I believe I was taken advantage of.
