They installed a new HVAC in 2018 and did an adequate job. Today they came out to diagnose an issue with the air handler blower motor not running properly. It was still under warranty according to the quote I signed which had a five-year parts warranty on the inside air handler and ten-years on the outside condenser. The technician was very professional and friendly. He determined the capacitor for the blower motor was weak and needed to be replaced. He quoted a warranty replacement price of $226, which was for labor basically. The capacitor itself probably costs around $15 so they are charging over $200 for five minutes' worth of labor to unplug the old capacitor and plug a new one back in. That's in addition to the $89 service call, which he said covers testing of the unit, although he admitted it wouldn't be worth testing the outside condenser and refrigerant levels since the fan was not operating properly on the inside. I understand they are in business to make money but charging such an outrageous price for a simple repair for a customer who has spent money with them on a new system before is unacceptable. I will know who NOT to call for any future HVAC business and I recommend you stay away from them as well.

We went all winter with no heat except from our fireplace because I wanted to find a company that cared about their customers, their work ethics and their employees. We went with Progressive Service Co to do the HVAC system. The unit I had just didn't work for almost 4,000 sq ft. From start to finish, Reggie G, Mitch, Jonathan, Caleb, Robin G, Lisa B took on this job. They made us feel at ease and Reggie told us not to worry. He assured us the team that came out would do a great job. They have been courteous, professional, friendly and helpful. When they were done, they cleaned up even the smallest speck of dirt both inside and outside! Mitch saved the box from the thermostat with all the instructions and then Mitch walked me through adding the App for my thermostat to my iPhone so that I could control the unit from anywhere. I am so glad we went with Progressive Service Company! I have worked in Customer Service for over 25 years and I wish I could give them a 10 star rating because they deserve it. For the first time we slept comfortably with heat on the 2nd floor! Thank You Reggie G, Mitch, Jonathan, Caleb, Robin G and Lisa B for making us feel at ease and confident in the service you provided!!

Xavier was my service tech and was very good at his job. He was friendly and competent. My Schuco solar water heater presented him with numerous options for flushing the coolant and presented a time challenge. I’m sure facing this unit again it would take far less time to service the unit. I would say Progressive should have an established fee schedule for this type of service thereby eliminating the surprise costs at the end! Other than the cost I was very pleased with Xavier’s job!

I called and was able to get service the same morning. Representative let me know when he was arriving. He immediately got to work and told me what the problem was and gave me a quote. I agreed and he repaired it. He also told me that the issue was unusual and I may want to file a claim with my insurance and left the part. He was very courteous and friendly.

Chad came and diagnosed a problem with 3 electrical outlets and repaired them quickly. He explained the problem, showed me what happened to the outlets and gave me reassurance and advice. He was very easy going and friendly. The price for services was more than reasonable and if I need electrical service in the future I will call Progressive! In addition, I indicated that the problem was an emergency ( at least it was to me!) and less than 3 hours later everything was fixed! Thank you!
