Made an appointment due to gas pack not working (no heat house at 50 degress and dropping) appointment time came and went with no phone call...I had to call them, they told me I was next (their current appt was running over ) 3.5 hours after my scheduled time still no phone call, i went ahead and cancelled and scheduled with another company. I understand you get busy but at least call and let someone know you're running late..

The techs replaced my expansion tank for the water heater. It was leaking. The techs were prompt and friendly. They let me know exactly what they were doing and how much it would cost.

At 9.45 Pm found out I had a broken water line inside one of my walls. I called every place in the area for a emergency call and the only company that answer the phone and was willing to come out was Progressive. Within hours Mike Patterson showed up. He was very professional and definitely knew what he was doing.
Around 11 pm Mike fixed my issues and couldn’t have been more happy with progressive plumbing.

They have been our goto place for home issues. We’ve used all the departments probably. We had our plumbing looked at and they were OK with my not wanting to install a filter (I don’t think the water in Durham is the same chlorine content as a swimming pool... I’ve tested it with a meter...). They redid our floors when we had a leak and they subcontracted it out to a very good flooring company who knew what they were doing with real wood floors. They converted our sink in the guest bathroom from a pedestal to a vanity and added some tile in there that looks great. They have also fixed our HVAC several times and often on the weekend (for an extra fee). They really are open 24x7, but during non business hours you have to pay I think it was $150(?) for somebody to even come out. It was worth it to me when our HVAC broke last summer though. We also had them completely replace our HVAC last spring for $12,000 and so far is has been running like a dream. They are local and can handle about any situation. They are big and have lots of resources. They have courteous staff who are knowledgeable.

Arrived in the scheduled slot, got the job done quickly, let me know I wasn’t actually doing this frequently enough (previous owners recommendation was every 5 years) tidied up afterwards. Nice people to deal with. Highly recommended.

We had a pipe burst in our home. After being on hold with Michael and Sons for over 20mins, he gave up and came across Progressive Services. He was able to get right in touch with their office who put us on Justin's list for the night saying he would be out to us about 7pm. He was not only on time, but very professional finding the pipe and fixing it within 2hrs. He then got us on track with calling our insurance and got us in touch with their water damage repair team in order to mitigate the damage. Shout out to Ziggie at the office putting us in touch with Roland, the water repair guy, who hot right to putting his dryers in. Roland made himself available to answer all of our questions about how to deal with the space where the pipes are during the cold weather and what we will need to do to work with our insurance.

We worked with Patrick, and he is extremely knowledgeable and has helped us quickly resolve some bugs regarding the installation of our Lennox heating and cooling system in our new home.

I would like to start off by saying I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and because of that I was aware of how wonderful they customer service skills were. They were some of the nicest, most polite people I have talked to. Then the timing was great they solved the issue quickly. Out of a scale from one to 10 I would give this company an 11, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked me.

We recently bought a new dishwasher that was juuuust a few millimeters too big for the space. Harris was so patient and helpful, worked with my fiance to brainstorm and remove some external bolts etc., and stayed late to install it successfully!
