Our heat pump system was "making a noise", so Payne Mechanical Services was able to determine where the noise was coming from and schedule us for the necessary repairs. They were able to explain everything to us in layman's terms and were extremely knowledgeable about our unit.

They replaced all the old copper pipes with new water supply PEX piping throughout the house back to the meter. Installed new tankless water heater and even emergency snake service on the drain line after the job was finished.

Only through their perseverance , work ethic and dedication did this vintage 1900’s Queen Ann home come truly back to life.

They not only worked rain or shine , but also some days well into the evening to stay on schedule. Not to mention the many unforeseen setbacks an old home can conceal.

They provided me an excellent service at a fair price. Informative and honest throughout both project’s.

As I and my fiancé are new to the area, they treated us like family.

Did not diagnose issues completely or communicate that the current system was too small for our home. Was told it was “just a warranty job” and wanted to just cover up moldy Sheetrock with the new indoor unit instead of addressing that separate issue. We fixed it ourselves while they impatiently waited. Terrible communication through the whole process. Clearly did not care about the quality of work or service provided. Did install the new units provided by the warranty company (mismatched brand and cheapest outdoor unit) without any advice or guidance about what we were getting or what we needed. If I knew these things, I would not need a professional to come assess. Felt very taken advantage of through the whole, 8 week/no AC in Texas summer, process. We are not satisfied and will not use again.
