I have used them several times throughout the years. I have used Adam their prime service manager aka son-in-law to the upper management. He came and did a sloppy job, he even claimed he did service our outside units which when we check on our survelance camera shows he was no where in site. They tried to bill me for filling gas in the HVAC unit but again no where in site. Jaime is another nice but shady personnality he is personable but will do the bear minimum. He made recommendations like need to replace a airscrubber light which was working at discounted cost of $300 for a $17 replacement. They have done a great job 3 years prior but now the managment and employee quality has definetly gone sour. I have even caught their service guys trying to service other systems like water heater to get a contract. I would never recommend them because the first word out of their mouth is Cost of services where needed or not. THis company should have a rep for being con-artist. They need to be continually monitored because they will make claims of services note performed. HOPE this is a helpful review for on going customers.

Our experience with Modern Mechanical has been stellar from the very beginning. When they say "total customer satisfaction", Modern Mechanical lives up to every word. They are prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, pro-active and our best advocate. They are great at communicating both the problem and solution, and they stand by every piece and part installed. They are respectful of our home and always leave everything clean. I would highly recommend this company, and Scott, for all of your heating, air conditioning, humidifier and hot water heater needs. They will take great care of you!

We had an issue that was actually plumbing but Scott who works with HVAC came to help us. Upon realizing it was a plumbing issue he tried to get someone to come to the house but they wouldn't be able to send someone over for 3 days so he did his best to address the problem and fixed it! Once he left I was checking out the problematic area and I found a new leak! I ran outside and flagged him down on the street and he graciously came back inside and addressed the new issue. Scott went above and beyond and we greatly appreciated his time and kindness.

One Hour heating and cooling installed a new HVAC system last spring when ours broke. The entire process was so professional and I felt like they completely knew what they were doing! It was a great experience! Since then we have had 1 scheduled maintenance and that as well was equally professional! I have recommended them numerous times and would do it again!

My favorite part of their service is the personal info you get about the technician that comes out to you. The last man who showed up sings Karoake in his free time! I almost answered the door with a microphone! It definitely makes the experience more connected and personable .

We were first directed to Modern Mechanical through our home warranty and decided to continued with them after our warranty expired after calling other companies. We needed to replace our central air conditioning system and Chris worked with us over a few days to talk about our needs (and wants.) After coming to a great agreement, Gary and Abel were able to come and install the system just days later. They arrived on time and always had an awareness of keeping our home clean. I was kept appraised of their progress and was given complete, but easy to understand, answers to all of my questions. I was thrilled with the install and look forward to having them fine tune the system when the weather warms up.

After my HVAC started leaking, my homeowners warranty company put me into contact with Modern Mechanical. After a brief inspection the technician noted the coils were frozen, and the system had to thaw before work was completed. They scheduled a follow-up for the next morning, and another technician came out who was great. The problem was worse than expected, but he gave me multiple options to choose from and how to avoid the problems in the future. He was very thorough and kept me informed throughout. At the end he cleaned up, and walked me through what he had done.

My experience was absolutely amazing. Angel came out for a regular heating maintenance & my thermostat died in the process. Nothing that the technician did, it was just at the end of its life and it just happened to be when he was there. He went above & beyond getting me a new thermostat so we had heating during the cold. He came back with the new thermostat, installed it. Set it up, helped out with the Wi-Fi setup and the app on my phone. He made sure we were all good to go. Absolute best experience I’ve ever had. He genuinely cared and took the time to explain everything to me.

From the first call to schedule the estimate through the installation, Modern Mechanical was a pleasure to work with on our HVAC replacement. They were all very polite, respectful, quick to respond paid attention to details, and thoroughly answered my questions. Their estimate was very fair and I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Well, one day of my nightmares came true... it was a blazing hot summer day and my AC was no longer blowing cool air. A few days went by having a few contractors come by and give an estimate to replace my unit (I had a leak and my refrigerant phased out). Some companies were able to install the next day but it was so expensive! Or some contractors were cheaper but I had to wait 3-5 days for installation...

Soooo being the Goldilocks of this HVAC issue, I went on google and yelp again and found One Hour Heating and Air. I quickly and easily booked an appointment for an estimate. They were able to accommodate me the next morning. They were fantastic! They communicated that JT would be arriving at 9am.

JT showed up early! He was very professional and put on those shoe booties, so the floors don't get dirty. (Being an Asian household, we thank you!) JT was knowledgeable of the products and my neighborhood community. This was very comforting. Also, he was really willing to work with us and wasn't pushy at all!

A few hours later, we decided to go with One Hour Heating and Air. They were able to schedule the installation for the next day!

The day of installation, I received a text that my technician was on his way and sent a picture of what he looked like. (That was amazing! I would like to know who I am letting into my home.) Anyways, Daniel was the main technician, and he was also very professional! I would say all went smoothly!

Overall, the team was very hard working and did a fantastic job! Thank you so much! You all are sooo awesome and cool just like my AC :D --definitely recommend!

Great service, knowledgeable technician. Answered all questions, very tenacious. Company was wonderful to work with, people were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

November 2019:
Again, superior service. My heating went out service technician was out within 3 hours moving clients around to accommodate the no heat problem He tried several ways to fix the problem but to now avail. He did not give up, but continued on.several different methods before he found the problem. Had to order a new part, but jerri rigged until it came in. I finally had heat. One hour heating and air conditioning came through. The new part came in within 2 days,
