Bob Joyce is the BEST electrician ever! Honest, diligent, and an all around great guy. I’ve never enjoyed an interaction with a repair technician more. He’s be someone I’d like to have as a friend. This is the 2nd time I've used Modern Mechanical for HVAC issues (once for my townhouse in MD, now for my home in VA). Both times I've been very happy with the level of service they have provided at a reasonable price.

Today Jaime V. came to look at one of our heat pumps and install a thermostat. He did a check of the system and said that it was working in good order. The thermostat install ended up being more complicated due to wiring issues...but Jamie tacked it and was able to get the new thermostat up and running.

It took more time and effort than expected, but Jaime saw the job through and left us in a great spot with our systems working. Honest, clear and capable. I will gladly give my business to Modern Mechanical moving forward.

We had the One Hour team come install new AC/Furnace units in our house and a mini-split in the detached garage, as well as a sump pump back-up. They got the work done quickly and professionally. Very good guys to work with. They even took the time to touch up the paint and trim around our attic access after the new unit required a piece to be removed.

Came same day to repair our A/C after it broke over night! After calling 5 other companies who all said we’ll call you back, might be a few days etc. I finally found them and when they say one hour they meant it. Jaime Valenzuela our technician was great, super quick, and the rates were very reasonable. I can not say enough good things about them. I have a toddler so this was very important to me and I’m so happy they were there to help.

We have had our HVAC maintained by Modern Mechanical since they started their business. Everyone there is always professional, courteous and attentive.

We recently purchased a new Lenox unit from them and as installations goes there are always surprises and unexpected adjustments. The Modern Mechanical team went above and beyond to get the job done in a timely manner. Above and beyond also included a last minute crane!

They listened to our concerns and provided a number of solutions and options to accommodate our needs and budget. Great financing! The communication from beginning to end was top notch. The installation team was friendly, very efficient and got the job done in less time than expected. Everything is running great.

Called and had same day apt for plumbing check up. Mike arrived timely, and was professional, polite. During evaluation, Mike saw that my water pressure was much higher than it should have been. I agreed to have gauge installed. Mike had to cut some drywall inside linen closet, but took care in not upsetting the shelving I had. Thanks to annual contract I bought, I had a significant deductible to help defray the cost. Mike also found one of my toilets had a leak, I didn't realize, was a faulty gasket inside tank. Mike took care of leak. Modern Mechanical has a valuable employee. Thank you.

My experience has been very positive all the years that I have had my heating system and water heater installed (approx 4 years). The technicians have all been very friendly and professional. The technician today (Joey U.) was no different. I told him that I was extremely happy with my system. It has cut my heating and cooling bills by more the 50%! The preventive maintenance is more than worth the price. It gives me and my family peace of mind to know that Modern Mechanical has checked my system before the winter and summer and everything is in working order. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I am thrilled with Modern Mechanical! We needed a new A/C Unit and upon calling Modern, we learned that replacing our entire system would be cost effective. Jeremiah went over all the options with us and we decided together what would work best for our situation. He set some expectations for the products, level of service we would receive, and the process for installation. We scheduled the service for a few days later! Our technicians Kenny and Tyler showed up during their time window and did an incredible job removing our old units and installing new ones. They spent time making sure we knew how to operate everything and answered all of our questions. They did not leave a trace of even being here - a VERY clean job. They were so polite and made sure that we were 100% satisfied before they left. I am impressed beyond words by Modern Mechanical and cannot wait to recommend them to everyone I know.
