Sean Bretz was on time, courteous, listened well, and fixed everything that could be fixed. I trust he will keep my informed when my parts are available.
UPDATE: I have revised my review based on Eagle Pipe's response to my initial 2-star review. Apparently, the person who was dealing with my account was not up to standards and was let go a week before my review was even posted. The General Manager and a Senior Tech came out promptly and addressed all our concerns and questions. How a company deals with complaints tells you a lot and Eagle Pipe has restored my confidence.
****************************************************** Given our previous experience with Eagle Pipe as our HVAC maintainer via their Eagle's Nest program, plus all the great reviews, when our 30 year old HVAC finally died, we chose them to do the install. The only overall word that really applies here is: disappointed.
First the good. - The pre-install sales side is very good at helping you choose options that are right for your home and are very responsive. No complaints here. - The Goodman system, after they actually got it running, appears to be very good. - They also were able to start the install on the day they promised - something that can be challenging these days. The issues. - First issue - it didn't initially work. When they left they told my wife "it works". I testing the system by turning it to full cold in AC mode and full heat in heat mode. Neither worked and the air handler fan appeared to stay at low speed (the now unit is variable speed) ....... And I still don't know how the new system is wired. - They removed our external PVC drain setup that combined my water softener output with my air handler condensate drain and didn't reconnect it. in fact, they discarded my old piping so I had to rebuild the drain. Not expensive or hard, but just unprofessional to remove a customer's setup and not put it back the way it was. They have simply ignored the issue any time I asked about it. - They billed my CC on file before allowing me to review the invoice or tell them if I wanted to use a different payment method. There were no overcharges and they actually refunded me a bit for the air handler damage, but it just seems unprofessional to charge before the customer even sees the final invoice. - A minor thing that has become an annoyance indicative of this whole experience is that there is still a dropcloth and headlamp in front of my garage belonging to one of the techs from the first day. I have told Eagle Pipe about it several times and on two separate re-visits they still have not taken them. I suppose I'll have to drop them off myself at the local office. On two separate occasions (one in conjunction with resolving an inspection issue involving anti-tamper devices for the refrigerant valves which almost failed the inspection) I have asked for a site visit appointment where I could discuss/resolve the following issues and get a walkthrough of our new system: - How the system is now wired - A walkthrough of the system operation and any quirks, etc - manuals (they did send me PDF's after I asked) - removal of stuff left behind - resolution of the removed drain piping issue. (I have now fixed myself) In both instances the tech showed up early and left before the scheduled appt time so I couldn't talk to them. So, in summary: I have a working system after some issues. It almost didn't pass inspection. They disassembled my drain setup and did not restore it. I was charged before being able to review my invoice or chose a payment method. I don't know how my system is now wired. And Eagle Pipe has not honored our arranged appointment times twice. I have had multiple email and phone conversations with them to resolve these things prior to posting this review. I really don't like posting negative reviews, but people need to know every install does not go as well as the review average would indicate.
We've been having issues with our AC and Thermostat, they send you a text stating that the technician is on the way along with a photo (so you know who to expect) and you are able to track the technician. The technician was early for both of our appointments and was upfront with us about timelines for replacement parts. Eagle Pipe has been amazing to work with.
Absolutely loved working with Eagle Pipe. Their communication was incredible throughout the entire process. You can even track your technician on the way to your house like a package! They came out and gave a lot of options on different services. I ended up only using them to run my gas piping from my meter but the work was high quality and reasonably priced. Thanks!
Michael installed a fan in my fireplace, & brand new ignitor. I now have a working fireplace that works fabulous! He did an awesome job, diligent & great working ethics!!
This young man was great to work. He fixed the problem in record time. He answered my question and was gracious in doing so. Really delightful to work with…
Excellent company with premier service. I've had fair & reasonable pricing, plus everyone I've been in contact with has been professional, competent and exceptionally customer-focused. HIGHLY recommend.

Sean and his partner were great. Diagnosed and fixed the problem right away and back to having a warm house.

Had a problem with 1 of 3 mini splits not heating. Service agent verified my diagnosis of stuck EV valve on coolant/heating line.
